  1. P365 with an X grip + 12 round mag in a Crossbreed IWB holster. Lately, though, I’ve been carrying my wife’s new Glock 19.5 with a Streamlight TLR-7 in a T-Rex Ironside Hybrid.
  2. You're right... I don't have a comp to check but as soon as I read your reply I thought about the tilting/moving barrel.
  3. Scotty is spot on here. I just wanted to add one thing: If you do get a 19X and want compatibility with gen 5 mags you can change or modify the base plate. I kind of hate the lip on the 19X... it's its one disadvantage. But I don't think I could bring myself to cut it off unless absolutely necessary. Also the +2 base plates on 17 round mags work with the 19X as well.
  4. I assume you first get it level with the small levels, assuming you have a flat top receiver. Then attach the barrel level. then use the small levels on the scope. Just a note, I have a Wheeler kit with the small levels and found one of them wasn't level with the other 2. The vial got shifted in its mount.
  5. Sig P365 w/ X grip and flat trigger. On occasion I'll carry a G19, but haven't found a holster I like yet.
  6. Fair points. But if it's mounted to the barrel or rail, it will act as a standoff device. Don't listen to me...
  7. I did my firearms qualifications in Dec 2023 with the Warren Co SO and the SROs were qualifying with newly issued Glock 19.5 MOS w/ Trijicon RMRs. There were also some patrol officers there, so I believe the 19.5 MOS was department-wide. I'm a constable and we provide our own weapons so it's not standardized. Previously I carried a P320 X fullsize but just switched to a Glock 45 MOS.
  8. Howdy, everybody. My name's Brandon. I started shooting about 30 or so years ago and have spent my entire life living in Tennessee. I did find myself not shooting for a while when I moved off the farm and into the suburbs. A few years back, though, I bought my first AR and got back into it. Since then, I've gotten my HCP, bought a second Glock and am currently waiting on an LPK to build an AR for my wife. I enjoy fly fishing and I like spending time in a turkey blind. I work in technology doing quality assurance work for a web development team in Franklin. The curve ball I like to throw to people is that I'm certified yoga instructor, too. Anyway, I thought I'd join here and try to find some gun folks in the area. Looking forward to getting to know y'all.
  9. My first post in the forum will be my first AR. I bought it Fall of 2017. It’s a S&W M&P15 Magpul Spec series with the SL furniture. I’ve not done many mods other than the obvious Eotech & VTAC QD sling. Mostly I’ve just bought ammo and mags. The Eotech was added after this past Christmas. I did just notice the AFG, which was a Christmas gift. I like it a lot, but I’m planning 3 builds right now: currently working on a Betsy Ross Aero Precision lower to fit with an 18” SPR inspired upper, which will be my wife’s first gun. The second is a 13.7” build, (pinned & welded muzzle device). My third is kind of optional, but I’d like to build an 11.5” pistol or SBR, but we’ll see. Anyway, that’s enough from me.
