  1. Looks very similar to a Crossbread Only thing I would tell you is the Crossbread is fully adjustable. If you don't like the cant or the height you'd want to be able to adjust it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks guys, I've taken the day off on Friday to do a handful of other things and I'll make it a point to head over that way and drop my paper work off. Don't think I can go the trust route, pretty sure my lower has already been engraved. Might try and call the shop that I dropped it off with this week and see where it's at. 3. Ha ha ha! Sounds like my work place! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Management at the location is responsible for breaking up the fight, they're responsible for all patron's safety while they are on the premises. It makes me sick to see male employees standing around not doing anything to prevent the attack. Being a former store manager (not in the fast food environment) I dealt with a lot of teens and early 20 year olds and their B.S. Always sided with my employees, but there was never an altercation in the work place, because my employees knew that they would get canned on the spot. Always told them to take it up with whoever after work, off the premises. If I were a patron in the store, I would have definitely attempted to break it up. If the girls turned their aggression toward me, then yeah I probably draw on them. Until that happens, all you can do is try to separate them from the girl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Interesting... Thanks Guys!
  7. Morning all, I'm in the process of doing a short barrel build and have filled out the application form. My question is, living here in Davidson county, can anyone direct me to who is supposed to fill out the "Law Enforcement" section of the application? I called the Sheriff's office and they transferred me to the ATF, who sent me back to the Sheriff's office who doesn't know who to send me to (they actually gave me the number to the TWRA... :/ WTF?) Anyway, anyone here in Davidson County been thru the process before? Who do I need to get to fill out the back portion of the app? Thanks in advance for any help! Teddy
  8. Thank you very much, Mac. For everything you did. It's Americans such as yourself that give this country it's great name. I hope to be fortunate enough to shake your hand one day.
  9. I lived in Jackson Tn at the time, was on my way to a martial arts class. No one showed up for class and I didn't know why. On the drive back to my apartment I heard that a plane had struck the first tower. Just before I got back home, they announced that a plane had hit the second tower. I remember going to work and opening the store but listening to the radio all day to find out the details. The mall shut down early that day and I walked over to the recruiting station. Was honest with all the recruiters when they asked about medical conditions (asthma) and they told me it'd be better if I didn't join. Have regretted that decision ever since. 10 years later I still wish I had taken the "other road." To this day I thank every member of the military that I come across for their bravery and their service.
  10. Over the last 3 years I've been slowly putting together a bug out bag and stocking up on ammo. I'm by no means a country boy, but I've spent a decent amount of time in nature on my own. I'm confident that I could make due for an extended time without today's societal structure. The thing I think we all have to worry most about is bugging in first, and then bugging out after. I've been gathering supplies to be able to fortify my home and survive being "trapped" inside for a period of time. Being able to defend my personal property for as long as possible is my top priority. If things become too difficult to stand here at the house, I'll resort to "plan B" which is bugging out to a safe zone. It's hard to imagine having to lock down the house, or even things getting so bad that I'd have to bug out, but better to be prepared than unprepared. Just my thoughts.
  11. Took a few minutes to put the shotgun and a box of shells in the back of the Pathfinder to ride around this weekend (and probably this whole next week). Also thru some extra .40 in the dry box with the shells. Debated this with a friend of mine a while back. We decided that we would both increase our load out for a few days. Just never too safe!

    Remington 700

I picked up a 700 Police Tactcal chambered in .308 not too long ago. Thing is a beast! I love it!
  13. Damn good movie!!! Got me started on my bug out bag. I decided not to pay $100+ for an Oakley bag, but snagged a Condor 3 day assult pack for $65 and already got a first aid kit to go in it ($25). Still deciding on my contents of the bag, but I've got 4500+ sq inches of room to store stuff!
  14. Turned in my app and got printed on 7/31. Called today (8/28) and they told me it was issued on 8/18 and that I should have it in 7-14 days. Hope it gets here in the mail tomorrow! Otherwise the mail man and I will have words!!!
