Rob, I like tikka but I'm more of a tactical/PRS chassis guy so I tend to focus more on the R700 action. Regarding savage outside the trigger i have a old 110 in a KRG bravo chassis that does very well but it took some work.

Just get a b14 and never look back lol

I've had a few MK18 and ill tell you this they are great guns if you suppress them not so great with a comp also the ballistic really suck out of a 10.5" barrel so you have to pick the right ammo. 11.5-12 is really the barrel length you want out of a 5.56 gun. The Mk18 is over gas so plan to use a heavy buffer and maybe adjustable gas block if you are going to suppress.
