Thanks 10-Ring. You're secretly a Mossberg salesman aren't you? Lol. That's a great report. Thanks.

Thank you for your responses. I know the rules and regs of Canada. I've gone to visit her a few times there and stay with her at the camp. And hunt. I have the correct RCMP form; I've taken a long gun each time. No trouble at the border, they hardly even slowed me down. But to my original question- can somebody actually reccomend a/few basic shotguns?

My wife is working & staying in a very remote place in very rural Canada right now. I want to get her a cheap but reliable 20 gauge to leave in her vehicle/have at her Basecamp. Pump or semi. What's the best low price budget 20 gauge that is reliable? One of these Turkish imports? I know, buy once cry once... I'm just looking for something that can be used and abused until she's out of that bear & wolf infested base camp. Thanks T

Thanks. Burn barrels but seriously accurate. Thanks! -
So my first deer rifle was a .243 Win. For a factory rifle, it was incredibly accurate. Alas, I eventually shot the throat out. But this barrel is a hummer. What's the next minimally bigger 6mm cartridge I could ream it out to, to get in into some good throat? Thanks T

My lease was up on my lathe and I didn't renew. I need a lathe with a taper attachment and DRO this go'round. If some gracious person would let me use their lathe for a few minutes I can finish up this little kids rifle for a mom I know. I agreed to do it for her as a freebie/pay it forward. 30 min max lathe job. Even a little table top mini lathe would probably work. Thanks either way. -T

Thanks, I'm wondering precisely what all they deem "mentally defective" could include. -
I have a friend in Colorado that has Asperger's Syndrome (very high functioning Autism.) He's a retired engineer, a very accomplished long range shooter, and mind boggling at precision handloading and load work-up. He's considering moving back home here to the south. Will His diagnosis alter his ability to purchase, possess and enjoy firearms in TN? Thanks!

Thanks CMI. I'm going with some level of an additional retention holster. Its the times we live in. I'm likely buying the Level II S.Land ALS that Billy suggested.

Big thanks!!

I have a Glock 35. I'm looking for a recommendation for a holster that can do double duty: a mild competition holster, that works for a daily OWB holster. "Low ride" at minimum, a little drop would be fine. And availible in Southpaw version. Big thanks, TM

I inherited a original box stock 70 series, nickel plated, Colt Commander, 1911 in .45 ACP. When I received it the nickel plating looked horrible. Half of it had flaked off and there were a lot of mild, superficial rust spots. (no pitting.) I : cerakoted it Tungsten grey with black controls, etc. upgraded it to standard non-adjustable combat sights (rather than the tiny original sights.) installed a really nice wide profile beaver tail safety installed a long skeletonize trigger. What would be an approximation of its value now? The cerakote and upgrades have just been done. The pistol has zero blems now. Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I have ran a right handed mag release all my life. It;s the location of the safety that makes or breaks me.

Thanks everyone. The LCP is the most UN-userfriendly for a southpaw I have ever tired to operate.

Greetings, Looking for a compact carry gun. I'm looking at the Kahr cw40. I could be happy with the over all package, but would certainly like and prefer a single action trigger pull. What is comparable in size, say @ a $500 price cap? Much thanks, T
