Being a major infrastructure/power producer, they can’t afford an outbreak In a facility. They have to keep the lights going.

I did live there from ‘94 to ‘99

No offense, but someone was smoking crack.

I ended up with a lot of old 22short, 22LR and some 22Long from my father in law. I don’t know if they are still good, but the boxes are cool. Remington, Western, Peter’s and Sears and Roebuck I just wish his 22LR revolver and old Marlin 22 Rifle hadn’t been stolen some years ago.

Odd (or interesting) that they chose the weapon most recognized as associated with organized crime…..

I always have liked the character Del Gue, with his shaved head so he can’t be scalped.

That is one of those movies you can’t switch away from if you happen upon it while flipping channels.

Jeremiah Johnson, great movie.

Well, I’m guessing BB’s and bottle rockets don’t really count, but when you are young and dumb, friends tend to shoot stupid things at each other. Been hit by both and had to dig a BB out of my knuckle once.

Al Gore is an Idiot. I still personally think getting vaccinated is a good thing to do. But Al Gore is still an Idiot.

I never thought to render the wax while it still had honey in it. I usually wash it in a big pot to remove the honey remains. The bee parts sink to the bottom. After it dries, last year I made a solar melter to render the wax. Have not rendered or this year yet.

Welcome.

Bees are not too hard. The initial cost it not too bad. They are most work in the spring /summer. Once you finish harvesting and treating for Verona Mites, they become less work. You still need to keep a eye on them through the winter to make sure they make it. If you have three good hives, and a good nectar flow, you might get 20 gallons or more in a season (that is what I hope to total this year) If you were able to sell it all at $10 per lb, that’s about 2K (but I have to keep some for me and family). That or what I ask for it. For good, raw honey, you might get $12lb. But at $10lb, I have not had any issue finding local neighborhood buyers.

Or did you heat the drained cappings w/o washing them and that was where the 1/2 pint of honey came from?
-
So you heated the cappings to separate them from the honey? I just let the cappings drain on a screen for about 24 hours or so. I think I got another gallon of honey from the cappings. I did pull about 54 frames.

I am very curious to see what the honey I pull in a couple weeks will be like as compared to what we pulled off on June 25th

This one is kind of a reverse of the other color. It is about 66% Graphite Black, 33% Tungsten. I did the upper, lower, hand guard, forward assist, dust cover, trigger guard and buffer tube nut. The difference is subtle, and harder to pick up in the photos. But the 300BLK is darker and I did not do the two-tone look with the small parts. i wish we could upload higher res photos, but I suppose that would quickly fill up Dave’s server.

I did just finish my 300BLk build and coating today. I suppose I should post some photos

Shoots nice. I just need to get to a longer range to sight it in better than on a 25 yard range. Plinking the 22LR from it is also fun.
