  1. Not a felt hat, but a leather Jackaroo hat from Australia.
  2. Or you can do that.
  3. Maybe so, maybe not. A lot of things went wrong that evening and there were a series of bad decisions on both sides. These decisions lead to a needless loss of life. You are correct that I am of the opinion that open carry (especially at a demonstration) makes you more of a target. It also gives the media nice photos of you to let them say “look at the evil guy with the evil gun, guns are bad we should ban them all”. It’s a uphill battle at times to keep our 2A rights. I just don’t like to give them more ammunition to use to fight against us.
  4. If it is anything like an iPhone, just choose “add files” then pick photo library. Pick the photos you want and then once they are uploaded, you have to pick them again from the bottom of your post to put them in the body of the post. I have noticed that on my iPhone, I am often limited as to the image file size I am allowed to upload. I usually email the photos I want to myself so I can choose for them to be sent as a smaller file. Then I save them back to my photos and choose the smaller file to upload.
  5. While it is apparent that Kyle was defending his life, and should be innocent of murder charges, it is hard to deny that if he had not been openly carrying an AR-15, things might have gone differently. The “threat” that others were erroneously been responding to would not have been there. I am not saying the situation couldn’t have ended up violent anyway, but Kyle would not have instantly been a “target” due to the other side knowing he was armed. The media jumped to villain-ize Kyle from the get-go I think in large part to the fact that he was openly carrying and “assault” rifle. I think if he had been conceal-carrying (like Grosskreutz) and things went sideways to the point he had to defend himself with deadly force, he may not have as instantly been made the bad guy. Unfortunately, he was still on the wrong side of the media and it likely still would have been an uphill battle.
  6. I have used Music City Pawn (Nolensville Road location) for all my FFL transfers. It has always been easy and smooth. $25 plus the $10 background check fee. All on computer. In and out in 30 min or less.
  7. they kind of let the Rams back in a little in the 3rd quarter, but still held them and played well in the 4th. I’m glad they gave AP the chance to get the TD. For not knowing the protection schemes, not really practicing with the team, and not having played at all this year, he did not do that bad. I expect him to look at film and be better next week. penalties on the Rams part did help, but we still beat them more than they beat themselves. We dominated them in the first half.

    New Gun!

I do like the Henry I picked up from Hipower. It’s not as octagonal barrel but it is still sweet. This just means I have to get another lever action at some point WITH an octagonal barrel.
  9. “Hi, I’m Sidinman, and I’m am lever-actionaholic”
  10. If I was AP, you might not want to end my career with the Lions. If he comes here, he at least joins a team that should at least go to the playoffs, if not win more than one playoff game.
  11. AP averaged 3.9 yards a carry last year with the Lions. He did only had 156 attempts however.
  12. Not that I am really complaining…..
  13. I mean, was she dressed like that in the movie? By todays standards Jane Russell would be wearing a thong and push up bra with the 6-guns
  14. Some of the Publicity Photos from Hollywood for Westerns almost look like weird 40s-50s Western Fetish Porn.
  15. Dennis Vilenueve did direct the sequel to Blade Runner and did I great job in my opinion. Blade Runner is one of my all time favorite Ridley Scott movies and in my top 10 movie list for Sci-fi.
  16. And death.
  17. What does Ridley Scott have to do with this movie? He was not a part of this one or the 1984 one as far as I know. Edit- I miss read Hipower’s post above and thought he said he “I do not have an interest in the new one” because of Ridley Scott. That was my bad. That is what I get for posting “pre-coffee”
  18. Just finished it. Very good. I always liked the first one, but it is too big a story for one movie. This one was so much richer of a movie as compared to the Dune 1984. I can’t wait for Dune Part 2
  19. I have a NIB (ish) Wilson Combat Short Reach Trigger for the Beretta 92/96. I got it to put in my 92S. I installed it but the difference was minimal as compared to the factory 92S. A little flatter, but not much change in the geometry or pull. I took it back out and put the factory trigger back in. It was in the pistol for all of 30 min. I suppose it is really better for the later 92 models with a polymer trigger. I paid $28.95 plus tax. It’s not really worth the hassle to pay shipping to return it to Primary Arms. I will take $25 $15 obo in the Nashville area.
  20. Don’t Tell
  21. Annie Oakley? Or a poser?
  22. Is this a .32 or a 38acp (not to be confused with .380acp)?
  23. I only have a red dot on my P365XL. I bought it specifically to carry with a red dot. The slight rear sight on the Holosun co-witnesses well with the front sight on the P365XL.
