    Budget 1911

My budget (and only 1911) is an ATI FX Military model. I picked it up used and have put probably 500 flawless rounds through it. It shoots great.

Well, I thought I saw it on Guns.com. In the Google search it says $507.99, in stock. But the site says out of stock w/o a price. So, I might have jumped the gun.

The MPA (minimum advertised price) is listed as $399. The only price I have seen on-line so far is over $500.
  7. Kind of makes you think your phone has been watching you…..
  8. I dig how you can release the snap to allow the handle to shift forward (and the blade back) when you sit down. That is a really sweet design. And GT's blade is awesome. I have a GT Bowie. This one here is just beautiful.
  9. I am going to guess that it is a homemade prop. It would not be too hard to custom build some thing that looked like a mini gun.
  10. If you are just wanting “shade-tree” you might try Brownell’s Aluma-Hyde II. It comes in a spray can and will air cure. I’m not sure the prep needed. But if it goes south, you can just sand-blast it off and Cerekote. You would have to sand blast the parts before Cerekoting anyway.

Being a P365XL owner/carrier, I do like the look of this pistol. I have a Ruger SR22 and quite like it, but there is not really an easy way to put a red-dot on the SR22.
  12. Some gun price inflation observations: Same gun is now $435 Shipped (SmokingGuns) to $541 shipped (Guns.com) with GBD right int he middle at around $500. That is a 37% to 70% increase in cost.
  13. you never said how far your shot was.
  14. If you have an iPhone, email the photos to yourself. iOS will let you choose the file size so you can choose a smaller size. Then you can save the resized photo to you phone and upload those.
  15. But still no Szechuan dipping sauce?

  17. Maybe if you have some of szchuwan dipping sauce.....
  18. My last loss to a blade was while sharpening a lawnmower blade (technically a big double bladed knife). The file slipped and I ended up punching the newly sharpened blade. I even probably had a pair of Level6 cut resistant gloves near by.
  19. Springfield XDs 45
  20. I do like to carry a 45. Not my 1911, but I do keep a 45 in the carry rotation.
  21. verry "Bonnie and Clyde" inspired photo
  22. I have not because I have not looked. I have several IWB holsters I use
  23. Hmmm. This reminds me of an issue that the 365XL was having when it first came out, but it had to do with the disconnector. The shape of the part in the early 365xls was more angular and it caused it to be difficult to rack the slide. I ended up replacing the disconnector with a P365 disconnector and the gun worked much better. I suppose SIG fixed this later.
  24. Yes, but with out the girl drinking wine or the Ralph Stesdman-esque doodle
  25. It was a new error screen and I was worried for a moment. Thanks for all you do to keep the TGO up and running.
