  1. Wow! That is a pretty Marlin. I wish had an extra 336 in .35rem instead of 30-30.
  2. When was your property last assessed?
  3. I could see a ban on Sporting rifles extend to all magazine fed semi-automatic rifles. I mean, it makes sense if you are really trying to stop the dangerous use of that style rifle. We all know that, functionality wise, there is not much difference between an AR/AK and a ‘Mini14/30.
  4. And if you want to, you can make it “tacti-cool” (although I personally don’t care for tacti-cool lever guns)
  5. Im contemplating looking for an older Model 81 just to have a semiautomatic “hunting” rifle
  6. Well, a levergun in .357 or 44mag with a 16” barrel would be a good choice. Faster to cycle than a bolt action. An older Remington semiautomatic (model 81 or model 750) in 30.06 or .35 Remington would be good as well. The lever gun in a pistol caliber will hold more rounds.
  7. That’s the freaking truth
  8. I’m thinking a lot if us have that agreement with our wives. If I have a little extra after a sale/purchase, I do try to spend a little on her for the brownie points. I would say to pick up a lever gun, but that may be a rabbit hole you don’t want to fall into. (anyone have a lever gun in Marlin 444 they are looking to part ways with?)
  9. You can just buy my Rossi 44Mag
  10. Rossi R92 in 44mag. Stainless Steel, 20” Barrel. I added a saddle ring. I have put probably 30 rounds through it. I’m guessing it doesn’t have more than 40ish rounds down the pipe. I need to make room for a Marlin in 44mag. $750 located in Nashville. Must be legal to own and purchase a firearm. TN DL or HCP flash. It is the third from the left in the second photo.
  11. Man, @lshel would be on this if it was in SS (and he hadn’t just sold his Rossi in .357) GLWS
  12. But, really, for a lever gun, the Marlin 336 design is very simple to disassemble, clean and put back together. I did it to a new to me (1964) 30-30 this morning while on a conference call.
  13. Or if you don’t want to fool with it any longer, I’ll give it a nice home.
  14. They have the slightly smaller ones (same height and length but slightly thinner for $25. They have the 120mm mortar cans for $18. I think the 50cal cans are $15 and the 30cal cans are $12.
  15. They want $30 for the 30mm ammo cans.
  16. Not that sign, But this one...
  17. If you get as far west as Nashville, look up Battleground Army Surplus. He has all kinds of ammo cans for decent prices.
  18. She was just a mentally ill person with a lot of crazy rambling diary entries. I think the Police Chief made a mistake using the term “manifesto” because that made the public think it would provide a reason for her actions. However it’s my understanding that this is not really the case.
  19. That’s a good rule to follow.
  20. You can legally get Delta8 or Delta10 gummies in Tennessee. We can thank Trump and the 2018 Farm Bill for that since they are made from legalized Hemp.
  21. South Boston?
  22. Pistol (not AR) used and both too young to legally obtain a firearm. So much for red flag or background checks helping there.
  23. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/981013614 here is a Rossi on GB ends in 4 hours. Current bid $501
  24. Ordered, thanks.
  25. Well, what does the race of the shooter or victims really matter. Being a town in southern Alabama, the racial makeup of the town is probably close to 50/50 white/black.
