  1. Nice Savage 1903 slide action
  2. One of the benefits of being ADHD, caffeine can act as a calming agent.
  3. I had a few of those as a kid.
  4. Do you have either of the pistols in the photo?
  5. I like Canik pistols and had one for a bit. GLWS
  6. Well, I did sell one (thanks @chris26) before buying this one, so it was a net zero gain. well, this one has a longer barrel and a larger caliber, so I suppose it was not a Net zero gain. I do have more “total lever gun mass” than I did before.
  7. Relatively….
  8. So, I reluctantly admit I might have a small lever gun problem. Got another one on the way. I will post it when I get it.

    First

Marlin Glenfield Model 60 (1980 i think). I didn’t know then that it would lead to a bad case of Marlinitis in my 50s.
  10. Very Nice! Too bad I just picked up a Marlin 444. Pre-64 Model 94s are sweet! GLWS
  11. I was at Guns & Leather in Greenbrier today. The had just put out a new Rossi R95 in .30-30. If you don’t know this rifle, it is basically a Marlin 336. It seemed well built with good fitting wood. The bluing looked great, but the wood finish was meh to me. I’m guessing it’s Burch or something, finished to look kind of like walnut. The action was smooth. I also stopped in at Farragut Sales in Coopertown. He has Hornady Leverevolution in .444 Marlin for $59 out the door. Not the best price, but not too bad. Sadly, no .35 Rem, .375 Win, or 38-55 to be found.
  12. Not sure. I signed up for GB about 4 years ago so it’s kind of fuzzy. I know they do not answer the phone. You may need to respond to an email or open a link in an email from them to verify the account
  13. Welcome back.
  14. This is a slightly used Burndy force gauge, catalog No. FORCEGAUGE 12-15. I think I acquired this with a bunch of tools from Mr FIL I’m not expecting many here to have a need for this unless you are an electrician or Linesman. They look to be quite expensive new. I’m just lookin for $500 or a good trade. I don’t have the patience or network to get an amount closer to its actual value The Burndy FORCEGAUGE1215 is a force test gauge for use with 12-ton and 15-ton battery actuated crimpers and hand operated hydraulic crimpers. The Burndy FORCEGAUGE1215 features custom U die blanks with detent, easy to read dials, and is for use with Burndy PAT750 Series, and PAT46 Series. Includes: FORCEGAUGE1215 Force Test Gauge Ram Puck and V-block Adapters Polymer Case
  15. I’m looking for a Marlin 444 lever action. Preferably a first generation (1965-1971) but let me know what you have. If I was going to be very picky, then an early 1969 from New Haven (with the serial number on the bottom tang). Let me know what you have in the back of the safe. However, it doesn’t need to be a “Safe Queen”. Some character marks are fine and poor finish on the wood doesn’t bother me. Found one
  16. I agree. I am not sure when this particular ordnance went into effect, but we ran around with BB guns and pellet rifles in the 80s in Nashville and no one cared.
  17. Additionally Chapter 11.12 OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC PEACE – Metro Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee – Code of Ordinances 11.12.080 – Discharging weapons B. 18. The Ole Bumper Dumper
  19. Isn’t this just overkill?
  20. If it was High Stakes poker, they would be using rifle rounds
  21. That is oddly hypnotizing
  22. Nice Savage 99
