I have not read any articles about this case, but if he used his capacity as an LEO to detain the victim before murdering him, then I think reporting it the way they did is appropriate. If he just happens to be a LEO who kidnapped and murdered the victim, then it is irrelevant and was used to sensationalize the story.

Since my wife and I were part of an early cluster in Nashville (early march) we ha e been part of a Vanderbilt Study which involves regular blood work. We were tested for anti-bodies in July, 4 months after were were infected. I was positive for anti-bodies but my wife was negative. She was sicker than I was. Luckily neither of us were too sick.

I sort of count myself in the “new gun owners” group as I just in the last year and a half got back into shooting. A long enough time had past that I don’t remember what ammo prices we several years ago. It seems Pre-covid we had been in a down turn in prices, but I am curious what really cheap ammo prices were. The cheapest recent retail I recall seeing/buying was when Walmart was dumping all their ammo and you could get 9mm for about $0.13/rnd in some stores.

And speaking of s&W 32long. Anyone have a box the want to part with? My dad has been wanting to shoot his dad’s old pistol recently but we can’t find any s&W 32long around Nashville.

My only wheel gun is an early S&W 32 Hand Ejector that belonged to my grandfather.

Academy Sports, when they have ammo, have kept their prices where the have been. Their prices probably were a little inflated previously, be by today’s prices, they are cheap now. I wish I had stocked up in 22LR last year, but I just got back into shooting and my 22 Marlin 60 was not my focus.

I picked up 400rnds at the time.

A hypothesis (or allegation) is false until you prove it is true, not true until you prove it false. It is not the in role science (or law) to disprove, but to prove. Just because I say it happened, does not mean it happened. I have to prove it happened.
