Will S&W now come out with a Shield Plus EZ, with the higher capacity magazines paired with the easy to rack slide.

Like my momma always said “Never take candy from a stranger unless he offers you a ride”.

I remember the good old cap pistols. Did you ever take the roll of caps out and just hit them with a hammer?

Local suggestions needed for barrel threading

I was surprised as well. I think since it is not his main source of income (drives mail trucks for the PO) he can charge a very fair price. He was very precise when putting the parts together for me. -
Welcome. Glad to have you.

Not really. I’m not fat, but I’m also not svelt. 185-190 and 5’11”. I also have a an IWB holster I put at the small of my back. I had to modify it with a dremel to work with the red dot. I did a write up here last year. it was in my write up on mounting the Shield SMSc to my P365XL.

Big Shout Out For Red River Gun Works So I picked up the barrel from David at Red River Gun Works in Clarksville. He did a superb job. Also for an additional $30 he put the barrel on the upper, mounted the free floating hand guard, and swapped the gas tube from one gas block to another and mounted it, and finally put the flash hider on. All while I waited and we chatted about guns and such. -
A new addition to my new addition. I built an upper mainly for 22LR but I have a regular BCG as well. Started with a blem upper, added a slightly used 223 Wylde barrel with a 1-9 twist. Had the end rethreaded. Put a rail height gas block with a match free floating front hand guard. I’m using a CMMG conversion kit for the 22LR.

And a good choice it was.

I run a either a Tier One Axis Elite with a side car, https://www.tier1concealed.com/products/axis-elite?variant=17963595235399 or a FDO https://www.fdoindustries.com/collections/kydex-holsters/products/forge-your-own-custom-holster Both are AIWB, and both are comfortable.

I wish the shield EZ 9 mm had been released before my wife purchased her shield EZ 380. I think she would like the larger caliber and the ammo Is “cheaper”.

I have not tried carrying my M&P 2.0 compact (15+1). Seems a little big for AIWB carry. I will like to see how these two will compare to my P365XL. The shield plus intrigues me more than the Ruger. But I like Smith and Weston.
-
The Shield Plus just deflated the value of all the Shield and Shield 2.0 pistols out there.

Makes sense. And it’s optic ready.
-
I got mine from Optics Planet.

https://www.opticsplanet.com/holosun-sub-compact-hs507k-x2-red-dot-sights.html The 507c does not fit the P365XL. You want the 507K

I dropped a barrel off at Red River Gun Works in Clarksville last week while I was there on business. I will pick it up when I am back there on Monday or Tuesday. David is former military and it is a small business in his home. Works for the postal service otherwise. Very nice and communicative. He is only open 9-12, but he let me drop the barrel off in the evening. I will post after I pick it up. He charges $35 to cut and re-thread. -
I think the Shield SMSc fits a Hellcat w/o any modification.
-
Shield SMSc install thread (mine) I could probably be talked into selling the SMSc
-
I have a Holosun 507k on my P365XL. I also ran have Shied SMSc that I had on it before the Holosun became available. I liked both sights. The Holosun has a dot and circle reticle option.

Cars are meant to be driven, and guns are meant to be shot.

Where does it say BBQ has to be pork? I love me some pulled pork and ribs, but I will stand by my statement that it’s a cooking method, not a meat.
