  1. Maryville Walmart had a boatload of .40 and quite a bit of other stuff. No .45 and no .380 though.
  2. Prices seem a little high. Only defense rounds in .45. I guess beggars can't be choosers.
  3. Willie was pretty damn good
  4. .40 s&w at walker springs. Dang 1 box limit at OR!
  5. Hmmm, that's as good a reason as any to drive to go and shoot at ORSA tomorrow.
  6. That was some funny stuff!
  7. Thanks, it looks like they are called frame savers. However, they don't come with the grips, you have to order separately.
  8. My question is whether aluminum on stainless can cause corrosion. The best that I can find is that stainless and aluminum are not a bad match up, but that stainless doesn't do all that well with any other metals.
  9. That is a really nice photograph too!

    1911's

Just bought this in the Herogear sale. I swapped out the grips for alumagrips, and changed out the plastic (wtf!) mainspring housing for a Wilson stainless one w/magwell.
  11. Here are some pics: The only quirk is that there is no mainspring pin cutout, and the kimber's mainspring pin is a hair above flush.
  12. I have them in olive slim. I really like them a lot. I will post a pic in a bit.
  13. Walker Sp is out of the WWBs.
  14. Oak Ridge WM had 3 boxes of 9mm earlier.
  15. I'm seeing blazer 9mm at all the WMs this week. About a month ago, I saw blazer .40 s&w everywhere too. I guess blazer is just working through the calibers. Let's hope .45 is next!
  16. Walker Sp and East Town WM had lots of 9mm Blazer. No .45 to be found anywhere though. I was going to swing by Oak Ridge in the morning on my way to the range, but it looks like only 9mm there too.
  17. Where did the other two bullets go?
  18. Ok, first a confession. I went to two Wal-marts while on vacation in Florida with the sole intent of looking for ammo. However, both were bone dry just like at home.
  19. Not much of a gamer here, but the only games I do play are the COD. Nothing else seems close.
  20. Crap, this might mean I have to get out of bed a 6am to get there for opening. Time to put down the beer, man on a mission.
  21. For me it would have to be an old remington. The gun weighed nothing, yet fired a 30-06. I have a mosin which a few people on here have mentioned, but it has nothing on this remington.

    wow.

Actually the diet drinks are just as bad, the aspartame causes food cravings. Unfortunately, I drink them like water.
  23. PSL, USP, UZI, 9mm, SVD, SVT, NRA
  24. I have, and hope that others have a memory of which places have jacked up prices and which haven't. I am for capitalism, so I respect a vendor's right to charge what they can get, but on the flip side I also have a right to choose where I will buy from. Once the ammo supply settles back down to normal, the venders who started gouging will have at least one less customer.
  25. YouTube - Clay shooting ? WITH CARS ? FUNNY
