Congratulations!!! It is a great feeling! It is so hard changing the lifestyle to fit the cashflow. My wife and I are getting ready to start working on the mortgage (though that's a bigger pill to swallow).

I've never shot an AR, but I have 2 mini's. I really enjoy shooting them (though I burn through the mags like I was in an A-Team episode! Oh yeah, I've not had any feed issues, but I would imagine that depends a lot on the mags. I would like to add an AR to my collection in order to compare the two, but it's hard moving that much $$$$ past the wife.

For me, the name Bubba isn't derogatory at all. However, I see Guitarsandguns point that it is used as a derogatory label by the liberal elite whenever they want to talk about most anyone in a so-called "Red State". It is their way of demeaning those of us who believe in things like God, The 2nd Amendment, freedom, etc.

Some of this makes me smile, but some just makes me sad....

Don't forget the lack of copper-coated ones too.

Having just moved back from Atlanta (and lived downtown for 7 of my 20 years), I can say that downtown Knoxville feels very safe to me.

Ah, the Taco Bell at East Towne.... now there's some fond memories (mostly of me stopping in there on my way to Forks of the River for a previous employer!).

I love conoeing, but with a 2 year old, it can get a little crazy if its not a short trip. That said, I might be able to convince the wife to let me come out for a weekend trip.
