I couldn’t help myself. New Sig MCX Rattler .300BO Canebreak 😎
Burnman5000 replied to Links2k's topic in Show and Tell
I haven't gotten to play with the 300blk canebrake/rattlers, but I have the 16'' and 11.5'' MCX Virtus' and I really enjoy the hell outta both of them. I can only imagine that they are amazing, especially surpressed. -
I've never heard of Ammo Incorporated but when I shot 10mm, it was real hard to find good ammo in general. Especially full powered stuff that wasn't watered down to .40 in a 10mm case.

Nothing wrong with a little chonk. LMT makes some great stuff. I have two of their MARS-L lowers and I haven't been able to get my hands on anymore. They are my favorite lowers to use on builds. I guess my wife just gets to suffer with a non-ambi SOLGW lower

Man, I've got a full-on G19 cut by Agency Arms, but that is simple and sexy. I might need a G45 just so that I can send it over to him.

I thought I was watching the movie "Twister" for a second.

Who did the slide work on that?

Poor Mans Benelli M4? Horrible Clone? or a Smoking Steal?
Burnman5000 replied to Magiccarpetrides's topic in Long Guns
I had both for awhile. They're both great shotguns. I think, depending on usage, the 1301 is the better gun for the price. -
I had one for a short time and I regret getting rid of it. I put about 1500 rounds through it before the "great pandemic" and since I was shooting less due to less ammo purchasing, it got traded or sold off. I really loved the trigger and I have a soft spot for 92's anyway. If I come across another one I'll probably snag it up, but I'm not sure that I'm a fan of the dot on the 92s. Great gun though.

I'll echo what most people have said: I love Sig stuff. I carried a P229 for a long time. I've bought a lot of their stuff straight after they release it in the last few years and it's been very underwhelming, with either "new" versions coming out shortly after (MCX) or recalls (P320, Cross, P365). I think the Cross was the most disappointing to me as it felt like the thing was put together by a blind chinchilla. Their custom service is great, but if they would get their guns right out the door then it would be less for them to deal with on the back end. All that being said, I've been wanting a new .22 pistol and this thing has quickly become high on my list, but it will be awhile before I get one as I'll wait until after the recall.
