  1. HK USPc .40. Consistently the most inaccurate gun I have ever shot! I liked the feel and design, but not the trigger. Traded it for a Sig that I love.
  2. Worried about the Red Coats?

    Tiny 9mm pistols

I think it is aholster.com. I have a few of their pocket holsters and love them.
  4. If you haven't seen the Pacific, you should do that. How often do you get that close to the west coast?
  5. Galco summer comfort IWB: Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters
  6. Why not just pick up a pair on ebay for $19? They seem overpriced on the auction site. HOGUE 28010 Sig Sauer 228 229 Grip - eBay (item 330359368966 end time Nov-10-09 10:11:09 PST)
  7. I have the Hogue panel grips for mine. They are a lot thinner than the wrap around. I have a lot less than 600 through mine and it is flawless. My only complaint is that I liked the Glock trigger better.
  8. That's what I was told by the shop on gunbroker. My local shop still has a 60+ person wait list, at least that's what they told me.
  9. How many rounds do you have through the 229? What is it you don't like about it? I have one in the .357 and find it to be a pretty nice shooter, very smooth and accurate. Mine feeds range ammo and hollopoint without any hiccups. I have been shooting double tap and speer gold dot out of it. You should check with sig. They have a great warranty department and will fix a gun so that you are completely happy. That is one benefit of paying the sig price.
  10. I just picked one up on Gunbroker for $330 OTD including pickup and fees. That included a box of 50 rounds.

    Sig p250

That's what I was afraid of with it.
  12. I like the blackhawk check 6. I think that's what it is called.

    Sig p250

Anyone shot one of these? I found a pretty good deal on a 9mm and a .45. How is the trigger? I'm sure the reliability and accuracy is what you would expect from a Sig.
  14. That's what I was leaning towards. I am going to talk to some of my LEO buddies tomorrow.
  15. I feel your pain. I have not had any time lately to shoot. Plenty of ammo, not enough time.
  16. I bought a new LCP today. After the background check was sent in, the guy called me to the counter and asked when I bought my last gun. I said it has been a couple weeks. He asked if I was sure it wasn't within the last 5 days, because he said they sent it back saying I had recently purchased a gun in the last week. I picked up the LCP and didn't think about it again. The employee faxed in an extra sheet and said not to worry about it. Is there anything I should be aware of or check on?
  17. Royal Blue is free. I think you have to have a hunting permit. I think TWRA maintains it.
  18. Plus no tax on the gun from Buds. Has anyone had the free trigger job?
  19. Why don't you just box it up and ship it next day air? I have never been asked what is inside my UPS box, and I don't think they will open it to check.

    Home Defense Shotgun

I agree. Hopefully you already have one in the chamber so you can skip that initial racking of the gun. The most intimidating sound is the sound of 9-00 projectiles flying out of the barrel.
  21. Well said.
  22. You have to watch what Buffalo Bore says about +P. I don't know what their criteria is for higher pressure loadings. They also claim a .40 +P. With that being said, I think they make the best .380 defensive round on the market. I've shot both hollow point and the flat nose out of both a LCP and a P3AT. I didn't find them to be too uncomfortable, and still less than a +P .38 special round from Buffalo Bore. Like a previous poster said you aren't buying this gun for a range gun. 1200fps from a .380 round is pretty respectable.
  23. Here's a good place to start: Ruger LCR? - Holsters
  24. I bought 400 rounds at an east TN Walmart the other day for $31/100 count box. If I had not found any there I was going to order from Georgia Arms. They had great prices at the Knoxville gun show.

    Sig Pro 2022 or M&P?

I am a big fan of the Sig. I was looking at one before I got my 229. Great gun for the money. It shoots as well as the higher priced sigs, but I liked the grip on the 229 better. I am not a big fan of the M&P. If I were in the market for a polymer frame gun I would get another Glock.
