  1. G27 is a pretty chunky gun for pocket carry. I love the 642 though.
  2. You've got to watch Bass Pro. I bought several calibers from them in February. They shipped a few, but the .45 and .40 shipped separately at a later date. They tried to charge shipping on all 3 shipments.
  3. My grandfather bought one. It seems to be good quality, especially for the price. I'd buy one if I could find it.
  4. I really like Buffalo Bore ammo. They have both +p and +p+ for a 9mm.
  5. Walmart has Blazer .40 for $12/50.
  6. I bought some federal .38 WC at walmart in Clinton. I think it was around $12/box. They had a whole shelf full when I was there.
  7. I saw IMI but couldn't figure it out. Nice gun!
  8. I can't really tell from the picture. What kind of gun is that?
  9. I've heard that Rock Island makes a good 1911. I know Springfield does. I would go with the Springfield depending on what type it is.
  10. Where did you find that? I just ordered a Kydex holster for my Smith 442 from aholster.com.
  11. Here's the one I was looking at:D.M. Bullard Leather Mfg. PWC Pocket/Wallet Combo Holster It is a gift for my brother-in-law. Looks like a cool concept, but I might come out better, as far as quality goes, getting a Nemesis and may be a IWB instead of the combo.
  12. What is the best pocket LCP holster?
  13. Some of the prices are higher, but some aren't. I bought some .40 for the same price as a month ago--$12.97/box for blazer and $16 for Winchester. The .45 was higher by ~$10 than a month ago. The .38 was the same price. This is all at the Clinton Walmart.
  14. Walmart in Clinton has a good stock of .38, .40, and .357 as of this afternoon at 5.
  15. That was a pretty good deal. They have the .357 Sig with night sights on the site now.
  16. I really want one of those. How is the recoil on yours. It looks like a .40 cal.
  17. I can fit my Kahr CW40 in my pocket. It works better with looser fitting pants, but it hides pretty well.
  18. I would guess around $400??? Definitely not more.
  19. Does anyone carry with Glasser? I've personally never shot it, but the idea sounds good. Is it effective for personal defense? I read a pretty good article on gunblast.com, and he talked about carrying Glasser in his .38 special.
  20. That's through their LE website, so it is obviously a better price than you will find anywhere else. That site is nice because it offers the discounted price to a lot of people. Bud's is a good online shop to deal with. Gun for Sale - Discounts for Qualified Customers

    LCR or 642?

Thanks for the input. I went with the 442. I will probably end up with a Ruger in a year or 2 after the bugs have been worked out.
  22. Is it much thinner than the Desantis? I thought about a leather pocket holster because there is less material surrounding the gun.

    P22 and PK380

Have you looked at the pps in a 9 or a 40? That may be a good option. The P22 is a fun gun, but you have to shoot the stronger .22LRs to get the best performance. I had trouble from mine with a few .22 loads.
  24. NO, I just thought they might be extra special.
