  9. boy this really bites!(work) got reports all day from the field about the match, great prizes and huge trophies. i will get to see for myself after work i guess. the wife says TGO's got most of the trophies. and she refused to look at her spot in the order finish because she had a bad day. folks do not believe her when she says i only do it for fun. could someone let me know how she did? Allen thanks for saying hi and she now knows who you are. congrads to all now it is time to back to making the donuts.
  10. well Mr roadrunner it looks like the weather will let go run the roads to get to the match.
  11. Glock only match, guns and leather holds them or did. and you must be a GSSF member to shoot. timed strings of fire at different ranges. have not done one in years no longer a glock owner.
  12. Mr T are you bringing that fancy new racer?
  13. also i would check out the Para/ZM it is a little pricey but nice
  14. Damn weren't tell no body!
  15. we have several 9mm 1911 and are very happy. just be sure to use a quality mag. springfield loaded full size, 2 EMPs and a P-18-9
  16. I just came from a local gun shop and the owner told me that the house will not be available to citizens, only law enforcement and Fort Campbell. I don't understand. I would still like to shoot the match but it sounds unfair for those who are trying to help but at the same time this info has not been available to the shooters who wish to participate.
  17. it was the worst match ever, movers that don't be still lots of misses, other than that it was a good match.
  18. yes it had great stages! but one of the targets thru the car moved on me.
  19. Welcome aboard Matt. We hope you will find what you need.
  20. i will be at work but it looks like Wanda will be there.
  21. but for what it is worth they do have a very nice trap/skeet range that is also very well lit up for night evening shooting:)
  22. have had 2 of the 511 N battery ones, i like the smaller size and i change battery's once a year, unless of course I forgot to turn it off. but but people seem to think the little N battery types are not tact cool. and i do agree for me very hard to zreo at distance.
  23. To all 3-gun's On the 25 July 2009, the 1st Responders are going to be preparing Lunch. It cost about $5.00. They generally serve hamburgers, hot dogs, cookies, chips, etc. Last month they had cooled cuts. So you won't need to bring a lunch, Just an additional $5.00. The funds raised go to Help the 1st Responders buy new defibulators and such need equipment. This is for a good cause, so lets help support the 1st Responders. See you all on Saturday Mark Caruso
  24. Yep it was a fun match we had a great time and congrads to the match winners.

However, if you plan to shoot 2000 rounds in a Pat Rogers class, put some serious mileage on the gun, or be competitive in 3-gun competitions, you need to do some more investigating. I would suggest that you start reading here Comparison Chart of Major AR Brands - M4Carbine.net Forums and see all the features that go into a top-tier AR vs. a bottom tier AR. As an aside, there are good deals to be had right now. Quite a few top-tier ARs that need homes. Why would it not be competitive in 3-gun? Because it didn't cost $1500-$2000? i do know that a Double Star rifle finished 46TH over all and in the top 15 on the long range at the 08 Ft. Benning AMU 3 gun out of 175 (?) shooters. the shooter is not a Grand Master or even a "B" class so that is pretty damn good agaisnt all the big names at the match. me i did win when my division at the KY 3 gun with my DS.
