  1. this will be at the Hill Top Training center. as I understand it shooters meeting is at 10:30 match fee $10 with a prize table.

he does have a 200 yard shot on steel, I know NBForrest helped him setup the 6 stages.

it is just outside Dover. please contact Jerry with questions and he did say there would be a loaner 870 if needed. a text is the best way to get in touch with him,

  2. .

IDPA has been so helpful in TN/KY in bringing new shooters to the range without having to worry about the $3000.00 "race" weapons to be competitive.

I do not have $3000.00 all to together with my open gun, my limited and the wife's limited gun. but I have seen some idpa shooters that have spent over $2000.00 on there Wilson or les bear. and for those who been around for awhile shooting all over have seen it them also, if they knew it or not.

  3. cause I ain't that smart, flat foot reloads only, but moving between locations its okay to go to slide lock and start reloading in the open? correct?

if correct and you reach a 10' wall of cover before you finish the reload, I guess then you would go flat footed to finish the reload. T/F

  4. Ok Robert, Dan, Denny and I will get you unstuck and make sure you can shoot the stages.

Hope to see you there, it's been a long time.

thanks, it was also good to see you guys as well. had a good time! and many thanks to my squad helping me out and getting me across the creek bottom  and the hole I found in bay 1. I learned that I can not use my normal 3 gun AR and will need to get the light weight one finished and will need a aimpoint or eotech. a scope will not work.

I was very happy with Wanda's shooting that was the first time she pulled the trigger on one her AR in many months.

    again thanks all

  5. It won't be enforced anymore now than it was before.

I really think the "rewrite" of the rule book was more to fix pet peeves and Pee Pee Slap the ISPC-lite crowd. On the whole it won't really effect anyone shooting "just a club match". And it probably won't hurt the MM to SS/Low end Exp shooters but I expect to see fussing from the "big boys".

I agree 100%, I was just trying to make a point, if a club or whoever chooses to use that against someone then that club should be used to all who show up at there idpa match. you know be fair to all

    a quote

"If you would still like to renew the expired IDPA membership to be eligible for the classifier, "

which is correct per IDPA HQ and something I did not know. (classifier being a members only thing)

  6. You're supposed to join after your first match.

true, per mr ray and the MD/AC make sure  that rule is enforce

Wait, are you/they really saying you are supposed to be an IDPA member to shoot at any IDPA match, or is it just the classifiers?

for the classifier it is idpa members only, again per mr ray

  7. JMO, but there are a LOT of stupid rules in IDPA.  Our MD is afraid that he'll lose a lot of his RO's if that entire rule book is implemented.  I joined this year so I could get a classification.  I won't be renewing next year and I'll just shoot Unclassified for fun.

got into a ugly discussion on this with Mr. Ray at idpa hq and I quote Mr. Ray," its the MD and AC's job to make sure that no shooter returns for a 2nd match (IDPA) without being a idpa member per the rule book. and only idpa members can shoot a classifier"

    I myself do not care

  8. At the World Championship I shot 27 stages in 2 half days one morning and one evening they ended up tossing 5 of the stages talking about being tired from being pushed through a match. That was a experience and everyone that likes shooting the sanctioned matches should at least shot a national or a world if they have another one.
