  1. If you haven't been able to tell yet, I love my wheel guns! And the wheel gun that I first fell in love with was the Ruger Single Six! Have quite a few of these, but these are my favorites. This is a 1958. And this is a pair of 50's vintage. The one on the left is a flatgate 1956 and the other is a 1958. Another of the flatgate. Frame is starting to "plum". Anyone else a Single Six fan?
  2. I recently moved to the Knoxville area, am located just down the road from Gibbs High School. I am looking for a nice place to shoot. Mainly pistol, but I enjoy pushing the distance with some of my revolvers. Prefer an outdoor location that is well kept. Any suggestions with input from you all would be much more appreciated than just looking at their websites.
  3. Busch Gardens is great. Historic Yorktown battlefields (I grew up here in Yorktown area). Lots of small breweries if you are into that. When I worked for Anheuser Busch they had stopped tours, but I believe they built a new Biergarten. If you're into racing, Langley Speedway in Hampton on Saturday nights always puts on a hell of a show. VA Beach a little more than an hour away.
  4. This thing is in super shape. Not the original box, we'd be in a really high collector range if we had that. Into this gun way under auction values at this point, can only go up from there!
  5. Correct, this is 357 magnum.
  6. This past week I moved from VA to TN. Prior to my move, I was offered a deal I had to take. My final act as a Virginia resident was a deal I worked with a gentleman to find a new home for this beautiful, unconverted gun. Bluing is beautiful, grips are beautiful, couple nicks here and there. Nice plum color on the loading gate. Serial number 31610. Overall, very pleased with this one. This particular Old Model Flattop configuration is rare and not your average Ruger. Very excited to take this bad boy out!
  7. Newport News here. Used to work at the brewery a few years back!
  8. Hey everyone, recently relocated to Knoxville area by my company. I am a wheel-gun-aholic, and collector of Ruger Single Actions. Looking to find a nice place to shoot and will be looking for a new SASS club here soon.
