Viridian RFX series I have 2 of the RFX35's and I absolutely love em. It's an super under rated green dot that hardly anyone speaks about. Some price range as holosun/swampfox and just as good.

I've been there once. Walked in and was greeted. Walked around and browsed. I was asked if I could be helped, I politely said no thanks. While I was squatting down checking on items I might buy, I was told I couldn't carry my gun in the store without it being in a holster. I carry my g26 at 6 oclock in a 20yr old hybrid comptac iwb as I have for as long as I've owned that holster. When I lifted my shirt to show it was in a holster, the guy got offended that I would carry a gun like the "idiots" do on TV. I told him his attitude and statement lost a customer for life and asked where is the store manager. He said he was the "floor" manager. I just walked out. There is a gun store/range in Maryville called Gunnys...got treated like crap there too years ago and never went back. It's changed owners since then but I'll never go back to any place that doesn't respect their customers.

Perhaps you could elaborate on the "custom" part of your G19. What internals are you running, type of slide, trigger and why the slide release looks upside down? Information as to what you have done may help some one trade or buy.

As David is implying..... firast stick with Glock and BE proficient with it in all aspects you train in. Then find a secondary unit of your choice and become proficient with it. If you have accomplished the first, then a different secondary unit can come into play to train on....once noted difference are found between the two, you can figure out which is better suited to what task instead of a 1 for all type firearm.. Wise words: Most all guns and trainning become just as boring as putting gas into your car unless you push yourself mentally and physically....that's the fun part.

Devils advocate......you don't need one. Unless you're going through pat down or metal detectors.......concealed is concealed. Now, pending the size of your edc and whether or not your holster needs stored as well, anything that will be out of your way and not visible and accessible will be impossible to find for your vehicle......I've tried and spent $ trying. Trunk style small safes appear to be the best because of the ability to really secure or bolt them down but some gun owners get nervous when getting stuff in and out of them. No matter what I tried, a trunk style safe bolted down was what I was most comfortable with. The brand doesn't matter as they all can be broken into with the right tools.....just do as much research as you can. There are thousands of gun sites just like TGO where this question has been asked. Read thousands of opinions and get as much information before you commit....

On another note, generally gun shops who have one on display usually have a "mount" rifle they use for optics to allow you to really check it out. If the shop doesn't, tell em they should....it's super helpful when optic shopping.

I have a Primary Arms and a Burris 3x prism and have tried the Vortex. Honestly, to me, a LPVO seems to work better regarding eye relief. When running simple transition drills, I'm slower with a 3x prism.....
