Soooooo anyone looking at a Sat or Sun shoot??

I was there yesterday around 4pm. NO ONE WAS THERE!! Had the range all to myself!!! Whoop Whoop!! Took my AK and put about 300rds through it and got to jump and roll around in the mud excersizing the Glocks and myself. Loads of fun was had yesterday......man that was some sweet shooting!!! Anyways....... So when's the next meet??

Did ya wake up on the wrong side of the sheets?? Uhh...I said they were legal. Besides that, I've seen a few at various ranges "in action". Usually they work for a few "bumps" then the rifle malfunctioned. Mostly AR's and AK's.... This is the first success story I've heard of to date. Fortunatly, OhShoot's the only person brave enough to try it out for us on a .22.....

That's a negatory....same with UPS. I've had tons of ammo left on my door step. Both FedEx and UPS have told me it's up to the drivers whether or not to get someone to sign. If no ones home to sign, it costs the company more to keep the package and transport it back and forth...they'd rather leave it at the door UNLESS the shipper wants it signed for. Then the shipper HAS to request it.....

Legal?? As far as I can tell yes. Is it worth it?? Doubtfull. Cheap enough for fools to buy and try but I've never heard of them working properly. If they did work properly, our government would have figured out a way to ban them by now. Remember, the government wants tax money for full autos......if this was a highly popular, high demand item, they'd be illegal or taxed....

The idea is to actually check them out first before you buy. Look for a canted front sight or gas tube. Check for mag wooble. Fondling a WASR or buying one from someone on here who's trust worthy is the best. I just got a WASR from a member on here and have alredy put 200rds through it. Fed, shot and extracted perfectly fine with no issues. I used Tapco and Bulgarian mags and neither wobbled. Is it a cheap AK...of course. Not to bad for a beginner AK or for plinking purposes. If your just going to plink and play, why pay more?? If you decide in the future you want something better, then you can purchase one. AK are like AR's in one aspect.....ya like'em or ya don't.

Ya know, most everyone here says to start out with a .22...... I tend to say BB or pellet pistols/rifles are the best. You can teach them saftey, accuracy, patience and shoot the crap out of em' everyday almost anytime. No more going to the range to try to teach where others shooters might "scare" the kids shooting thier ginormus boom cannons. Why worry about what pistol/rifle to get. Go to walmart and let them pic from what ever is available, go home and get to teachin'. Since you don't know how your child will react, easier to get saftey basics down pat on something simple, yet deadly enough to get a "kill" point accross to your child. Later, if the child shows interest in furthering thier firearms knowledge and shooting skills, by all means go buy them a gun. With that said, my daughter is 4. She has seen me clean firearms and knows I carry one everyday. Currently she has no interest in guns or shooting for that fact but when she does.....and she will, the pellet rifle will come out of the closet first.....

Only trained professionals should use Dremel products on firearms. Took me many years and firearms to perfect my tallents......

Well, I don't think you hurt anything and I must admit you've takin' it to a whole new level...looks slicker than ice..... Good job. Oh....and expect it to be scratched on the first round. Nothing lasts forever....

It happens......I used to carry my G19 all the time. Got the G26 for summer carry use only since it's smaller........BUT......I've gotten used to the G26s' weight and size......kinda hard to carry the G19 now since it feels different. It really takes some getting use to after carrying the G26.

Really??? Prove that to all the folks on TGO who don't have a 1911 nor think they should own one. Any 1911 you own or will own will be as fast and as accurate as you are. There will always be someone out there who doesn't own a 1911 that will be better, faster and more accurate than you will ever dream of being. Deal with it!! You aren't a god with a 1911, no one is. As for saftey, it isn't an issue. All modern day pistols are safe, it's usually the user that comprimises the saftey of the pistol. What you need to remember is it's not the accuracy of the pistol....as they are usually more accurate then the person shooting.

I would suggest going with a G32 in the same carry caliber you have. No need to change from a Glock to revolver just because it's summer. Another thing to think about and look at is purchasing the accessories for the revolver...more money in the long run. Truthfully, you should be able to use the same IWB for the G32 and of course use the G33 mags for back ups while carrying the smaller G32...... Again, not that it may matter to some, but having to purchase and keep up with two calibers of ammo can be expensive as well........ I normally carry a G19 for winter and a G26 for summer....however I've been carrying my G26 more often now because I've just gotten use to it's weight and size. It just makes more sense to carry a weapon you're familiar with and confortable with (even though it's smaller) in the same caliber.....besides, it's a Glock...everyone knows you can shoot your rear off with a revolver. :koolaid:

Sorry to hear about the loss. Really sucks that such a fine pistol was stolen........ Not that you need a reminder now but it is imperative that people do not leave anything of value in their vehicles...even in their driveways. Criminals are bold these days and we should know this by now.....

Response for red highlight: Part of peoples fears of a 50BMG has to do with someone like you posting in a public forum that you sneak around Miami avoiding the law with a 50BMG looking for a place to shoot. Response for bold text: No you haven't really. I was wanting an explaination of why you said you have to sneak around like a ninja, while avoiding the cops just to shoot your 50BMG in the city. Of course it's illegal unless your at a range of which you said you don't go to because they're only 100yrds.....hence forth stating you're doing something illegal...AGAIN. I guess my point is, if you are serious about stupidly sneaking around like a ninja a$$hat in Miami hiding from the LEO's with a 50BMG.....then maybe you need to find a local Florida forum to post at. Kidding is one thing but to back it up with a few more posts about it, that's plain dumb. No it's sentences like the following that bug me... Why do you have to sneak around?? Is it illegal to shoot a 50BMG in Miami? Sounds like it is. Sounds like you're doing something illegal on a regular basis...is this true?? Inquiring minds want to know since you posted you do it with your 50BMG...... So once again, you're sneakking around like a "ninja"......hiding from the LEO's......why?? Why are you hiding from LEO's?? Sounds like you're doing something illegal.........
