I occasionally ride dirt bikes as well as street bikes and can safley say that my G26 rides in it's MTAC perfectly at my 5-O'clock with no issues. No need to worry about anyone seeing it while riding unless you're on a crotch rocket bent down over the tank wearing nothing but a wife-beater on doing about 100mph....even then it'll only be for a second.

Definatly inprove the stock sights first. Then worry about a laser....

Ehh...just trying to get an optic mount I like on it. Didn't like the Kalinka optics mount, it broke the second trip to the range...not really battle tested equiptment... Besides, you know you're welcome to pull the trigger on it anytime....it's not like it's going to hurt it...

Gotta get through a few more ignorant weeks here at work before I'm able to have time. On the flip side, the Ultimak rail and lowmount rings should be in soon for my AK.....I'll definatly have to go testin' it out. Stocked on ammo already so no worries fo' that stuff....

Very informative...I actually just caught the other thread on GlockTalk... ...those are a great option.....wonder how they'd work with the Ghost ring rears on my 26??? Just sent them an email inquiring if the Pro Glows would work with my ghost ring.....Hope they do..

That last part in bold, you didn't sound so confident in that statment. You said "in other peoples opinion"....not yours. A MAK-90 may or may not be better than another type AK, maybe not. I don't see any shootability difference in the MAK-90 vs. my WASR. Bet they both shoot about the same, function the same and look the same. I know it's supposed to be quility vs. quanity but in many cases, if it's built like an AK...more than likley it'll preform like an AK....

The only problem with this....... ....is him saying this....

I'd just say you had a bad day at an indoor range personally. I've been to Farnsworth and can say thier lighting isn't something to brag home about. Hell, the store aint nothing to brag about. Just some good ole' country folks running the local stop-n-shoot. Most people miss it and usually can't find it anyways..... Still, it's been proven that good american brass ammo is usually more accurate than steel surplus. I'd say it has something to do with tighter tollerances here in the states......I've seen it happen with SKS's, AK's and 1 AR. Please note I've also seen a shooter "outshoot" the the competition and their brass cased stuff as well.......anythings possible.

I have a co-worker who will have a table (section) there. He attends Clear's Silat and Street Kung Fu and has stated that it should be a decent show though it will be small. I think the hours are something like 9 to 6 on Sat and 11 to 5 on Sun.......I think the price of admission is $8 or $10....not too much. Considering I work 10 minutes from there.....I'll have to stop by and see what they have when I get off of work tomarrow morning.....

When I had my Kimber, A buddy and I were shooting in the same stall, some how I loaded one of his .40's in the Kimber. Same thing as bkelm18 said except we had to ask CCA for a shell extracter...

Pulled my weapon for the first time.Opinions?
kwe45919 replied to Jack's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Considering where I live and area around my house, if the situation occured as you described it, the vehicle would have then become a deadly weapon and more than likley hit my car or my house. No ands ifs or butts about it. There's no room for anything else than my little rice burner in my yeard. If brandshing my weapon could/would deter this idiot from attempting to "drive up into my yard" and possibly killing someone or themselves, my pistol would definatly be "at ready"...... -
Wow?? Really?? I ordered my belt from Looper and it arrived in two weeks. Of course it was just a regular black belt with the stiffener strip in it...no special order stuff....

Leather IWB holster for light & spare mag
kwe45919 replied to dwcz's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Finally got some pics up for whom ever was curious of GunSaddles dual IWB mag holder.....Keep in mind I use a light and a mag in mine instead of 2 mags.... It sits low enough for me on my belt comfortably. However, I can not use G17 mags in mine as they hit a bone in my back where I wear it since they sit higher than the G19mags do. The G19 mags work and feel fine no matter if I'm carrying 2 of them or 1 and my light. -
Tuesday huh?? Any idea of what time??
