  1. Saiga. Either converted or unconverted. I've owned a WASR as well, hell it was my first AK of many. No issues with it and ate everything. Installing a bullet guide and trimming the mag catch is a 15 minute job and is about $20, then the Saiga can accept any AK mag. I have not converted mine though I plan to, but I've donthe bulletguide and mag catch so I still can use the 10,20,30 rnd mags with the rifle. Getting a Saiga and being able to "work" on it may be intimidating to you but the ultimate satisfation of converting your own is glorious in it's own right.
  2. Zombies don't care about the rain, why should we?? .......and yes, the weather is getting crappier by the minute. I called Tod Howell and told him to make it sunny on Saturday.....he just hung up on me.
  3. The CF G22 had a blemish from a Serpa Holster at the trigger guard. That's where the most abuse comes from with Kydex style holsters.
  4. I couldn't have said it better. I seriously believe that Glocks in general are the AK's of the handgun world......and yes, I own 2 G19's and 2 G26's. I personally like my semi- pistols like my revolvers. NO external safteys'. I've kept my finger off the trigger since I was 6ish and I intend to continue to do just that until I'm in the correct, legal, and/or safe position to pull it.......
  5. IF everyone shows up...maybe 30 or so at this point. Also depends on if people bring sons, daughters, moms, dads or their old neighbors last room mates' second cousin thrice removed whom married the dog named Pete.
  6. Looks like high of 58 and 40% chance of early morning to noon showers...... Sounds like perfect weather to blow s%$t up.....
  7. Why would one assume you aren't the type to carry a weapon? After all, it's just a bananna in my pocket oficer.......
  8. Now where were ya'll when I had the Glock22 and was trying to sell it on here......
  9. SOLD OUT~!!! Doh....I soo wanted to buy 10.....
  10. See my post above your's. Is it durable.....sure but not indestructable. If the finish on your Glock or Sig wears with holsters and use, this will wear faster then those protective coatings....
  11. Vera Noice.....i'll try to remember to bring my camera.....
  12. I didn't have any issues during cleanning but I'm not a sloppy cleaner either. Between Hoppe's#9 , Kroil and CLP the finish never faded or dulled. With something like this you'll either use it (so you should expect wear) or you'll make it a safe queen to protect the finish. I would have used my old G22 IF I shot .40......I have no safe queens other then my daughter and wife's personal guns. Scratches and dirt don't hurt....;.
  13. ..................and another reason I bought one is Joe Bob dun saved me a few bucks.........
  14. Work would do just fine without you.......
  15. Here's the CF printed G22 I had: Can't believe no one here wanted this when I was trying to sell it. I bought it cause I thought it was cool though it was the only .40cal I had which is what led me to selling it.
  16. ............if they can't see it, how are they going to verify in a court of law that you were actually carrying a concealed weapon.........( seen bulges on belts are moot since almost everyone carries something bulky (cell phone/flashlights/ammo etc. on their belts these days....
  17. Explain this?? Are you saying you had to use something else besides your basic 115gr 9mm load just to be able to cycle your G17C?? If so, that makes no sense. I have a 19C and have used everything under the sun and it's eaten it with no issues, didn't matter if it was a sub sonic load, a +p+ nor did it matter the grain used.
  18. Guess that was my issue. I inquired at the time about hydroprinting my AK poly furniture, just a general urban camo. Cost was going to be around $400. NO THANKS. For the Glocks, pop the pins and take out the guts.....then put your pattern on the frame. If you wanted your trigger done, it would be done seperatly to ensure the correct pattern.
  19. I'll have to post pics later when I get home but I had a Gen2 G22 that had the Carbon Fiber pattern hydro printed on it. Tried selling it on here and no one seemed interested. Ended up finally finding a home for it in W.TN......
  20. I'll PM you later. we'll get something worked out..
  21. Some peoples kids need beaten with an cane switch......
  22. Knowin' BCSD.....they will.....cause someone near (a neighbor) will hear the booms and swear it's automatic gun fire at a meth house.
  23. If you want to do all the work and will ensure functionality when returned, I don't care to swap. I bought the lower to play with anyways. The clacky noise don't bother me..........
  24. I've heard they are from the same manufacture.....I've also heard the name "PlumCrazy" has given the company some issues with contracts which is why they changed the name. Not sure, just what I've heard around the water cooler. Some of the PC's I've seen have plastic trigger pins but all have had steel hammers. I'll say these will go up to the cost of the PC's eventually after they gain a bit of popularity.
  25. Doesn't everyone bring a fire extinguisher when they go shootin??
