When and where I carry is becomming no ones buisness anymore. It's hidden for a reason so the fewer that knows the better off I am. Work, sleep and shower are the only places I don't carry....but one is always very near.....and yes, I carry on the Throne!

I think it's sexy. Makes me want to squeeze it, hug it and call it George. I'd own it and shoot the heck out of it, after I sold all the crap on it and put it back into a wood stock.. -
So nobody's mentioned the 1911. It asassinated hundreds of people. Why hasn't anyone given it any credit?? Just sayin'.....

Mines not any "newer". It's one of the first production Gen4 G26's. It's always going to be up to the seller to determine his/her deemed worth and price of the gun they are selling and stick to it. It's up to the buyer to try to get the best deal they can. It's this way with any gun that has ever had a bad word uttered about it. It's called negotiations between two people......if someone isn't offering to buy it at the price you want, don't sell it to them and move on to the next person.

Great articles. As always, Dolo seems to have enough info to arm the great minds of us all......

Dude, I holster and unholster my G26 at least 2 times a day. On in the morning, off at work, back on after work and unholster at bed time. Had my Gen 4 G26 as my daily carry for almost a year and I don't have the first sign of holster wear yet. I use a 1st gen CompTac MTAC. The Kydex certainly hasn't worn any of the finish and the leather is black anyways from the prior 6 years of carrying my Gen3 G26 so maybe that's what's keeping mine looking factory fresh...

My wife grew up shooting. It's one of the things we talked about during our first dates. I'm pretty sure we ended up at the range together somewhere shortly after. My wife is pretty effecient, she loves her Glock 19 and can shoot it pretty darn well. Other than that, she pretty much doesn't/hasn't cared for any other gun. I will say when she shot my old Auto Ordance 1911, she took to it like snake oil on a snake charmer.......

Wow....that is one sweet CZ. Great find!!

Score one for the good guys!! That's sweet that it came back and you got it for a killer deal.

I've had 2 of the Frontier poly lowers and one PlumCrazy. All 3 function as they should. The only drawback I can see on a poly lower is the inability to add an enlarged trigger guard. That can still be done by using a heat gun or other heat source and slowly, slowly heating up the trigger guard and stretching it out a bit. I've done that to one of my poly lowers and it worked out great. The guy I sold the lower to actually bought a second Frontier lower and asked me to do the same to it. Other than that, they rock!!

For a .22......BSA, TruGlo, Bushnell or the like would be fine. Personally I like the TruGlo stuffs like these.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-2012-Truglo-Tru-Brite-Open-Red-Dot-Sight-Dual-Color-Multi-Reticle-TG8380B-/221109066629?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item337b209b85 about $80 http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-2012-Truglo-Red-Dot-Sight-Dual-Color-Multi-Reticle-tg8360b-/271039027984?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f1b2f5b10 about $60 It'll depend on what you really like or want but any of the ones named here should be just fine for your intended application.

Awsome, great to hear you got taken care of. -
We might of passed but I wasn't really looking at people, just tables. I wasn't there early but around mid-day. I walked around and gazed at every table seeing if there was a last minute deal to be had. Alas, nothing. Nothing is the real word here, as nothing caught my eye many times. I even had a cup of coffee with nothing. By the time I left, me and nothing became best friends and promised to see each other often. Personally, I hope I don't ever see nothing again.....nothing but trouble if you ask me!!.

Nice. I couldn't hit anything at 200 yards with a shotty....

Guns with "break-in" peorids are a joke.....they should work right outa the box as intended. Could you imagine a toilet with a break in peorid? Gotta flush it 100 times and raise and lower the seat-n-lid 200 times before everything goes down and works like it should.......

Congrats on the new SR9c. Hope it turns out to be a keeper. I can shoot'em pretty decent but just can't get used to them as a carry weapon. Been carrying Glocks now for 7 or 8 years.....they just work for me.

Silly story.......dumb actors.

See, that wasn't my first thought..........my first thought was "Ok, who the crap is this guy and what is he trying to pull?" Not that I expected to be in the middle of a sting with an undercover cop or a terrorist gun buyer situation but if you can't prove who you "stated" you were and can't show me TN I.D. for proof of residency then it's just time to leave. I had the notion to call the local HP office and inform them of the individual and of the awkard situation that arose thinking maybe they needed to check him out. I let it go and drove on home. I watched the news hard for a few weeks waiting for him to show up on there and it saying he robbed a bank or something...cause that would be my luck IF I didn't go with my gut and the law.
-
....one more thing I'll add is this. Most everyone should have their ID or HCP ready for the "private transactions" of firearms. I've done quite a few transactions with people on here FTF. All but 1 went well. I always ask to see the ID first and most don't have an issue with producing one. There was one gentleman that drove 2hrs from Nashville to Oak Ridge and when we met and I asked him for his ID to show proof of residency and age (he looked 90yrs old but COULD have been 19 for all I knew ). The guy got steamming mad and almost yelled he didn't have one on him and that he left it at home in Nashville. When I told him no sale without ID, he raised hell and said I was treating him the same way the cashiers at the grocery store do when he buys beer. I was like, "DUH BUNG HOLE"....it's the law. I told him I had no idea who he was or where he lived and I was not gona break the law just this once as I happen to like my HCP privliges. I hopped in the car and left. Never heard from the guy again.

First, you should let me put my filthy hands all over it so you'll sell it to me as a dirty cheap truck gun! In all reality, so shoot the darn thing and report back to us!!
-
I stopped relying on WalMart to have stock in any caliber I use. Been buying off the net latley while it's stil decently cheap. 500rnds of anything these days cost around $130 to $200.....and it's only gona get worse. Wish I could really stock up but funds and other projects don't allow. I'm hopeing I have enough to make it through till Christmas or the first 8hrs or so of the Zombie apocolypse before ammo gets tight........
-
I try to be fair when giving a price point to a seller. Total LowBalling is silly. I've had people PM me on here saying things like, "I've got $200 cash in hand and can meet today!" when I've had the item posted at $450. That is just silly. Pending the price and how long the items been listed, I've tried to go $50 to $100 lower than stated price to get a "better" deal but never over 1/2 off.

My G26 gets the GDSB hollow 9mm 's for SD. The other 9mm's get Winn Rangers 127 +p's.... My recent practice ammo has been Agilua 124gr cause I found 1K rounds for $226 shipped to my door. Usually it's the cheapest bulk I can buy (Tula, PMC, Reloaded Georgia Arms) which is usually in the 115gr flavor.....
-
Been wanting to try one of the Taurus 1911 9mm's but kept hearing negative things. Keep puting rounds down that things throat and report back after the next coupla hundred rounds.....
