  1. Had previously been painted so I hit it with a coat of black paint. Paint could be stripped to take it back to factory anodizing. Comes with barrel nut, all screws, and small pictinney rail on top.
  2. Vertical grip (painted) AFG, has had some minor Dremel work on inside so it sat more flush, not visible and doesn’t impact function. Magpul hand stop $20 for everything.
  3. Title says it all. I may have the box but no promises. Unity style tall riser with built in iron sights. $100
  4. Title says it all Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 SFP. Comes with 2 scope caps, but no box. Mounted in a Daniel Defense mount, with an extra screw pack. Works well, just going to a larger magnification scope.
  5. One of these dropped right in my Sig 1911. https://www.nighthawkcustom.com/drop-in/sdp1004-drop-in-45acp-5-threaded-barrel
  6. Just check one of the 10 other posts he has made. There should be one just about every day.
  7. Good condition. Just don’t need it.
  8. 10.5 inch BA barrel. Shoots well, just a spare I have.
  9. Anderson Upper complete upper 7.5 Ballistic Advantage barrel pistol length gas tube with Yankee Hill low profile gas block Wilson Combat free float hand guard BCG and CH included
  10. Well I think I settled it for myself today. I might build out a 1/7, but it’s not a priority. I threw down this 5 round group with steel cased TulAmmo. Put down a similar but very slightly larger group with ZSR bulk ammo, and a 1.5 inch group with bulk 62 grain green tip. This was at 50 yards, but pulling out the flyer that is about 1 MOA. I can’t argue with that for the absolute dirt cheapest ammo you can find.
  11. Alright internet friends, I need counsel. I have ARs, mostly for plinking, 90% of the time I'm running standard run of the mill 55 grain FMJ ammo. My what I would consider "do all" gun is a 16 inch Smith and Wesson M&P15, one of their original "duty grade" rifles, not the newer sport line. I've upgraded the rifle over the years, but there are a few things I don't like about it, I don't care for the handguard (15 inch older Aero handguard), it is heavy, and its a 1/9 twist barrel. Now, this rifle is a solid 1.5 MOA gun with bulk ammo, so I've got nothing to complain about there, but it doesn't shoot some of the heavier stuff well, and I would appreciate the option of having some sort of long range AR, or the option to use my general purpose rifle at extended ranges. Here's my quandary: I went to the local shop today and picked up a BCM handguard. I like that handguard, and it is much lighter, so that solves 2 of my issues with the gun. While there one of the guys, who I like and respect his opinion, talked me into a 14.5 inch barrel with a 1/7 twist, then I thought well, I may as well buy an upper and the gas system, I've got an extra BCG kicking around and I'm sure a charging handle somewhere. So I left with a much more expensive bill than I had planned on. Now my buyers remorse is telling me to take the barrel and other stuff back and to just swap the handguard onto my Smith, but the other part of my brain is telling me to build out the 14.5 upper, then later on put an 18 inch barrel in the Smith and use it as a sort of SPR upper. Whatever I do I'm just building uppers and using the same lower, as it is currently set up exactly how I want it. So. What do I do internet?
  12. I didn't try this, but I imagine it would work with the thread extender and the 8 inch Wilson Combat handguard, to kill that gap a little bit.
  13. I'd be down for that trade, I don't know if it would direct thread though. The barrel shoulder is about 3/16 back from the end of the handguard (so part of the threads are under the handguard). I think it would depend on the thickness of your can. My Dead Air Nomad won't fit, but it is a notoriously fat can. I've got a can that will slide under the handguard, but its pretty narrow, and I use the Yankee Hill SRX mounts for my other cans. That mount spaces the suppressor just enough forward that it fits, but its not direct thread at that point. I've got a 1 inch thread extender, if you want it. Looks like this, with the extender on, would actually be a little shorter, but I left the crush washer on for a quick picture.
  14. Lower is all Aero parts/built BCG included. Toolcraft brand with a carpenter 158 bolt. I built the upper. Upper is an Anderson. Barrel is a Ballistic Advantage 7.5 inch with a Noveske rail. This was a spare parts build so, if its preferred, I can swap out the 7.5 BA barrel with a 10.5 BA barrel with either the Noveske rail or I've got a Wilson Combat 8 inch rail. And I've got .30 cal birdcages if you're not into the break. Its effective but it is... loud. I'd also sell just the upper, if someone already had a pistol lower, and/or I can separate the optic.
  15. Looking for an AR upper. Stripped or complete, or any manner of partial build. If barreled looking for something in the 5.56/.223 Wylde flavor. Would purchase or trade for anything I've got listed. Heck for a quality upper I would trade an Aero M4E1 300 blackout pistol, its listed in my profile.
  16. Aero (built) M4E1 lower 7.5 inch Ballistic Advantage 300 blackout barrel Noveske 7.2 inch free float handguard VG6 Epsilon 7.62 brake Sig Romeo 5 on a Unity style riser with back up irons integrated Sighted in and runs great with 110 Vmax. Will come with a full mag of that ammo. Would trade for a 5.56/.223 AR upper, 1911s, probably other stuff.
