  1. Not a home build, factory built upper and gunsmith built lower. This thing is a beast, a real shoulder bruiser, if you're into that sort of thing. It is the kind of rifle that is just cool to have, and one that everyone wants to shoot. Bear Creek Arsenals upper, Anderson lower, CMMG LPK, DPMS A2 stock, comes with 1 mag specifically for .50 Beowulf. Currently painted green, not Cerakote, but one of the Cerakote like finishes that you can buy in a can. I can include dies, brass, and bullets. $750 $650 or would consider trades for lever guns, 1911s, or 2011s, can add cash if needed.
  2. XDs 45. Noting much to say about this one, great shooter and amazing firepower in a tiny package. Due to the push, rather than snap of the .45 recoil, this isn't too bad to shoot, but in all fairness it isn't a steel 1911. Has Talon grips installed, comes with 5 and 6 round magazines, and also an extra 7 round magazine. Comes with a DeSantis IWB holster, factory case, and factory mag pouch thing. $400
  3. The break end to end is 2 1/4 inches (2.25 inches). With the blast can threaded on it is 2 1/2 inches (2.5 inches).
  4. Title says it all. Want to trade my large rifle or large pistol primers for small rifle primers.
  5. Looking for a single stage press. Not the nicest or most fancy press. Just need one to size bullets in separate from my usual press.
  6. No idea, it isn't branded, so probably not one of the big name companies.
  7. 5/8x24 threads, .30 cal bore. Acts as a muzzle break, or you can thread the optional blast can on and it directs the blast forward. I used it on a 300 blackout, blast can certainly makes a difference when shooting indoors. Blast can threads are 13/16-16, which match up to various oil filter sizes, if one were interested in such a thing. I'm not advocating for anything nefarious, I legitimately used to thread on an oil filter so I could clean my guns in the house, but now I have a nice work bench in the garage, so no need for that.
  8. Ok. So, I had a full sleeve of primers in my hunting bag. I thought I had the bag cleaned out all the way, so I tossed it in the washing machine. Well, the primers went everywhere and got soaked. I mean full on wash, soap and all. I managed to collect all of the primers and I'm hoping they can be dried out and still shot. Normally, I'd use them for range ammo or something, the hang up is that these are my only large rifle magnum primers, and I need to develop a hunting load and load up some rounds to hunt with. And, this being 2022 and all, I can't exactly run to the store and buy a sleeve of primers, much less large rifle magnum primers. Anyone have experience drying out wet primers?
  9. I'm out in the Dickson area, but willing to travel an hour or so. I plan on going to the Cheatham WMA to run some rounds over the chrono and sight in some rifles. That range is not my favorite. I used to love Montgomery County Shooting Complex, but they appear to still be "down" for renovation. I'm on the waiting list for Strategic Edge. Is there anywhere else in the Mid-TN area? For the time being, 100 yard range is fine for sight in, but I would eventually like to stretch some of my rifles out.
  10. Perfect condition, I've literally only worn it once. I just don't carry OWB. Fits all the Glock large frames,: 20, 21, 29, 30, 30s (probably), and whatever the long slide variants are for the 10/45. I paid around $60 for it, and like I say, it is basically new. How about $40? OBO. Or I would trade for Small Rifle Primers, maybe subsonic 300 BLK ammo. Probably other stuff too, those are the only things I can think of.
  11. Looking for a threaded barrel for a Glock 21. Not a factory barrel with the metric thread, something with the standard .578x28.
  12. I'll add in, I found the recoil of the 357 SIG to be pretty comparable to the .40. Close enough for me to practice with.
  13. So, I am not trained as a medic (we don't have those in the Marines), but I've trained in Combat Lifesaver, so my IFAK is tailored to what I can use and will use. I keep: 2 tourniquets, a CAT and a SWAT tourniquet. Buy a real CAT, then get a knockoff from Amazon to practice with. And stage your tourniquet, don't leave it in the plastic Compressed or rolled gauze 3x3 gauze squares Medical tape Israeli bandage Chest seals Medical shears Various sizes of bandaids Various meds in single packs (Tylenol, aspirin, Benadryl, Imodium, etc.) I prefer the individual packs you can get from a gas station. I know they're more expensive, but I don't like the idea of tossing a few pills in a Ziploc. Even if you label them, too much risk for me. I don't carry stuff like an NPA or a decompression needle. Too much risk there. You're protected under the Good Samaritan rule to assist someone externally, but once you start inserting things into people you open the door to litigation.
  14. Looking for 45 ACP boxes. Brand doesn't matter. I reload my 45, and I'm looking for some boxes to store ammo in. The ones you were getting ready to throw in the trash at the range are what I'm after.
