  1. Looking for an optic for a PD rifle qual. Have to have a specific optic, one of the 3 listed. I don't have a ton to spend because I already invested into an LPVO that I just found out I can't run, but trying to find something to qual with.
  2. Live in Dickson, but in Nashville on Wednesdays for work.
  3. I can remove either barrel and the 24 lb spring and drop to $600
  4. Reduced
  5. Reduced to $700
  6. Seriously, for all day wear and work, a chest holster is incredibly comfortable. I used to tote around a Glock 20 in a Keni Gunfighter chest holster. Works well for both hunting applications and farm chores, its really out of the way and really accessible when you need it. Never had to worry about the gun banging on something or getting in the way on the tractor. Didn't make sitting or bending uncomfortable and it was easy to use any variety of tools with.
  7. $700 P80 frame, Alpha Wolf stainless slide, Glock brand upper and lower parts kits. Slide is direct mill for a Vortex dot and has suppressor height tritium front sight. Gun will come with both threaded and standard barrels, both Alpha Wolf. Comes with factory weight (17 lb) captured recoil spring/guide rod and a 24 lb captured spring on a stainless steel heavy guide rod. With either barrel (full chamber support) and the 24 lb spring/stainless guide rod this gun can safely run full power .45 SUPER loads. Or it can run soft .45 ACP loads with the factory weight spring. I also find that it runs better suppressed with the 24 lb spring, but that may be dependent on your suppressor and load.
  8. Great gun, has had about 200 rounds through it hiccup free. Has been through the Kimber custom shop for a deburring, reliability enhancement, and some trigger worm. Comes with 2 Wilson Combat mags and tritium sights This is one of their limited editions in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, hence the logo on the grips. Has a ramped barrel and a heavier recoil spring, it handles hot loads and mild loads all the same. Great gun, its just a little too pretty for me to bang around. Also comes with a set of grey Hogue Piranha G10 grips (I couldn't bear the thought of damaging the REMF grips). $1200
  9. $275 brand new, never fired. Came from the factory with the 28 inch field barrel, I purchased an aftermarket 18.5 inch barrel. Both barrels are threaded for chokes, the 18 inch barrels usually aren’t, but I thought it would make a handy short barrel gun with a turkey choke that could pull double duty for HD. Of course that never panned out and it’s been sitting in my safe ever since.
  10. Solid gun, was a duty/trainer gun for a friend of mine until he was issued a Glock. I picked it up from him and have never fired it, I just don't care for the full size frame. Comes with 2, maybe 3 (I don't remember what I have) 17 round mags. Does not come with the optic, but is cut for the RMR/Holosun footprint. FDE frame, Sniper Green slide with slide lightening cuts to compensate for the red dot weight, and copper barrel. Its a sharp looking color combo. Does have some holster wear, but function is flawless, I can repaint the slide, I have OD green, not "Sniper" green, but pretty similar.
  11. My biggest thing is don’t do something else while you’re loading. I used to listen to podcasts, and I’ve had more than one round not get powder. Now I don’t do anything while reloading except for that. And if my wife comes to talk to me she knows I’m not paying attention until the bullet I’m working on goes in the ammo carrier.
  12. Just curious what everyone else does. I just picked up a new caliber (.38 Super) and am trying to decide which way to go for brass. I usually just buy loaded ammo and save that brass, then I slowly build up a supply 50 or 100 rounds at a time. I’ve occasionally bought range brass for stuff like 10mm, but have never bought new brass. I’m considering new for this one because it seems like there are 3 or 4 different headstamps for .38 Super (Super, +P, Super Comp, and TG) all of the brass is basically the same strength, but SC and TG are rimless and TG has a larger opening for the extractor hook. Anyway, because of that I’m considering buying new Starline brass for the first time. Just curious what everyone else trends toward.
  13. Looking for a 5” Springfield prodigy.
