  1. For a good all-around fishing rod, I’d suggest looking at the Ranko Fishing or St. Croix Mojo series. These are high-quality rods from a top fishing gear manufacturer, and they fall right within your price range. The 7’ Medium-Heavy models are versatile and can handle a big catch like a 20-pounder. For bait, try soft plastics like Yamamoto Senkos and Zoom Trick Worms to start. Pair them with 3/0 hooks and a few 1/4 oz weights for a simple setup. You’ll find that this rig covers most bass fishing situations!
  2. Hey everyone, Has anyone tried the Huchen guide service Slovenia? I heard some mixed reviews and wanted to get a clearer picture. Some say it's the best fishing experience, while others mention issues with the guides not being very knowledgeable or the equipment being subpar. It's a pretty expensive trip, so I want to make sure it's worth the money. Also, is it true that the best spots are actually outside of the areas they take you to? Any info on alternative guides or DIY options would be great too.
  3. I have a 300w solar panels on my Kimberley Karavan and that is awesome letting me keep my Lithium batteries charged for days at a time Some times I go with my Roof Top tent and have debated on a small solar setup. I do have dual batteries and when moving every few days that has kept the fridge running 24 hrs with no issues. I am curious what some members have for small setups and what they can do with them. How small do they pack as well.
  4. I'm looking for a scope on my new 270 at accurateordnance. Generally, I'm deciding between two scopes. I was considering the Viper HST 4-16x44 in MOA or the Trijicon Credo HX 2.5-15x42. I've been wondering if the Trijicon or something similar is worth the extra cost. Thoughts?
  5. Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a, FFP optic for a .260 Remington I'm putting together and was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with this scope. It seems to have a lot of features for the price, but I'm also wondering if there is a better scope out there for similar $ Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks! https://guntrusted.com/
  6. Look at the Athlon scopes on Ellet brothers, very good optics for the price, I think the Argos gen2 with ffp, 6x24x50, ir is selling for $555 and they are competing with scope double the money. If you contact Jerry at Mystic Precision he should be getting one with the moa reticle, I originally ordered it and then decided to upgrade to the Ares Etc. They also have a lifetime warranty.
  7. I just picked up a new Ruger 10/22 with the 20" heavy target barrel. It is drilled and tapped for Weaver type scope mounts. What make/model of 10/22 scope would you mount to take full advantage of this rifles capability?
  8. Hi everyone, I was looking for a plain edge tactical knives, and after checking out this review https://wildlifeactionplans.org/tactical-knives/ decided to try out the Smith & Wesson SWBG2TS . Looking at the reviews and prices, they seem to be good for the money and I assume they are made of quality steel. I was wondering, which one you would pick if you were me? Smith & Wesson SWBG2TS or MTech USA Xtreme MX-8054 Thanks.
  9. I bought a REI Half Dome 2+ for my first elk backpacking trip almost 3 years ago. They still make the same one. It's 5.5-6 lbs and about $250. Was under $200 when I bought it. I'm sure you can find great info in this article.
  10. Hi guys I am from Buffalo, NY looking forward to chatting with you.
