  1. I like it clean and pristine, like my guns, lol. I have three houses on the same road.
  2. Thanks alot all. I tried to prep my mind for this. I mow 8 acres yard. My biggest problem is, my type A Personality. I have purchased four pistols since Jan. I just look and drool. The revolver is a great idea and a good reason to get one.
  3. If there are any of you out there that have went through shoulder surgery, maybe you can offer a little advice for me. I'm 9 weeks into a major one, 3 torn rotator cuff tendons, one detached bicep tendon, 1 bone spur, 2 Bursa sacs removed and a shredded bicep muscle reattached. On my shooting arm. I ordered a couple new left-handed holsters. But I have to learn to shoot left-handed. And I'm anxious. Maybe, another way to chamber a pistol with one hand. Right now I can't even get the orange plug out of the pistol to chamber a bullet.(new evo),(45 ultra carry). I asked my physical therapist when I will be able to pull the slide back on my a micro 9, he won't give me any kind of answer, he has never held a gun. This is in Cleveland OH, but he's also 30 years old. Just wondering if any of you out there have had shoulder surgery and what kind of timeframe they were able to start shooting? As in being able to chamber a bullet, to being able to shoot a long gun. Let's say like a .308 Winchester.

Ye ha! Picked it up today. Not a real good pic. I don't have the strength yet, to pull the slide back to get the plug out. About another 3 months.
  6. When liquidating, do your research! Knowledge is power, you will be ready to deal. I look at gold and silver, as a bartering tool. With all the hacking, old infrastructure and terror. You never know when the grid might go down.

I would like to sight mine in at about 800 yards. I'm looking forward to the illuminated retinal optics. My range is only good for about 250 yards. When I get recovered from my surgery, I plan on shooting once a week.
  8. I really wanted to post on this, but I was afraid the drooling would mess up my keyboard. That's pretty. Congratulations.

Bought one four years ago. Never shot it. The most beautiful long black, I ever seen, with leopold mark 4. Is there anyone out there have one, shot one, like it, dislike it?
  10. Myself, I hope they can dig far enough that they find a bunch of political senators and representatives that have done the same thing. Bought and paid for, how would you like to have surgery from one of those fine students?
  11. I'm new, I'm sorry, I pray for a speedy recovery. May God watch over all of you.

Never mind, I'm new, I posted the wrong place.
  13. I have one Glock model 17, I bought it in 1985, sent it down to Georgia and had a 2 lb trigger pull put on it and tritium sights. Out of all my Pistols that is my favorite one to shoot. I can do tac tacs within 2". I don't know how much truth there is to this. But when I bought this pistol, I was told that the person that invented the Glock, dropped it out of an airplane and it shot fine. To be able to sell his idea, that was the durability test. Has anyone ever heard of that story before? Definitely not the gun for the inexperienced. There's only one safety on the whole gun and that's on the trigger. Especially when you have a 2 lb trigger pull.
  14. I love it. My next gun! Do they make scope rails for that? I don't mean to seem a litter at about the contender, I live two miles away from the fin feather fur. It's kind of like a Gander Mountain. That's where I bought my first one. They don't sell them any more. Have to drive 30 miles to get one.
