  1. Yep....makes no sense but he was likely viewed as low hanging fruit and an easy conviction to pad statistics by the prosecutor. And no one in Hollywood is going to be an activist to get a middle aged white guy who is a useful member of society who just happens to have possession of some threaded metal pipes out of jail.
  2. These same politicians will never be honest enough to tell anyone that in Europe it is much easier to get a silencer/suppressor than it is in the US. Even in the UK where it is somewhat difficult to purchase a firearm you can easily purchase a suppressor. So much so that a Murfreesboro man named Paul Gratton bought SIX of them while on a trip to the UK and brought them home. Of course he also got convicted and went to jail for possession of unregistered suppressors......but the point is that he was able to purchase 6 silencers at retail in Great Britain while on vacation. That douchebag Menendez (who is as crooked as a dog's hind leg and just missed going to jail for bribery last year when a mistrial was declared in his case ) will never admit that there are over a million NFA registered suppressors in the hands of law abiding folks and that NFA registered suppressors are used less in crimes than steak knives or rocks.....
  3. At some point I fear the bear will get tired of getting poked.....
  4. REMINDER ! This one is coming up in a little over a week!
  5. This one is coming up THIS WEEKEND !
  6. What AJ is getting at is that people are often asking the WRONG questions. "CAN I shoot him?" is a question of ability and to some degree availability of a gun with which to shoot him. "Should I shoot him?" is a question of ethics or morals. "May I shoot him?" is a question of permission or legality. "Must I shoot him?" is the only question we need to have a clear answer for (and that answer is usually crystal clear if you know what to look for) So people should be asking themselves if they MUST shoot not if they can, or should or may. Your answers will probably be different in your home vs in public. Questions of Ability, Opportunity and Jeopardy seem to be easier to answer when they are being asked about someone in your own home instead of in a parking lot.
  7. If the latest reports are true he had been getting increasingly violent and actually had recent physical "scuffles" with co workers and was going to be reprimanded for it. So those were the "warning signs" I guess but they were quick and not protracted. Wonder if there might be a medical reason for the recent violent outbursts?
  8. The "tactical advantage" the guy in VA Beach had was that he was armed and the victims were not. The suppressor (if it really was a suppressor) was irrelevant. And he was killed by the responding officers so we have incontrovertible proof once again that ARMED good guys are what stops armed bad guys.

Kalashnikov Rifle Gunfighting October 12 - 13, 2019 Dayton, TN Price: $350 Instructor: Randy Harris Suarez International was among the first to recognize the AK system and it's usefulness as a Civil Defense Rifle in the USA. Rifle confrontations worldwide rarely exceed 25 yards. Rather than a long range marksman's weapon, our research shows the rifle will most likely be used just outside the reach of more conventional weapons, as well as within these closer intervals of confrontation. This course will take the student quickly through the basics and impart the techniques necessary to deploy an AK type rifle in a close interval emergency. This course is highly recommended for civilian defenders, military personnel, or police operators (we make no distinction in the material presented). CLASS AND RANGE DETAILS DURATION: 2 days TIME: 9:00AM to 5:00PM AMMUNITION: Approx. 500 rounds (Minimum) RANGE & GEAR REQUIREMENTS: The usual range safety gear you always take to go shooting. A quality 7.62x39 based rifle. ComBloc is fine, SIG 556R is fine too. Sling on the rifle. At least three magazines, and accompanying pouches (chest rig is fine, war belt is fine, sneaky bag is fine). 10. Maybe......you’ll just have to wait and see.
  11. And if the guy had been able to LEGALLY carry the gun ON HIS PERSON and not be FORCED to leave it behind then this would not have happened either. I'm not saying he bears no responsibility. I'm saying if it had stayed secured ON HIS PERSON then this could not have happened. But because people (legislature) thinks that an otherwise law abiding person suddenly becomes a craven killer if he carries his gun anywhere near a school event he is forced to leave it unattended. Now should it have been better secured? Of course. But it does not get any more secured than when it is secured on your person. This is a good argument for an "enhanced permit" that would allow those so permitted to carry ANYWHERE so that they are not being forced to leave guns unattended in public when they enter areas that otherwise do not allow guns.
  12. This class is an excellent place to start for the person who maybe has their permit and realizes that the permit class was not really training and wants to dip their toe in the "tactical training world" to be better prepared to deal with threats, but does not want a "SEAL Team 6 fantasy camp" experience. This class is geared toward dealing with the most likely realistic threats. This class covers not only HOW TO SHOOT WELL, but when to shoot, how to recognize an impending assault before it happens and how to hopefully avoid HAVING to shoot. But just because it is our "basic class" does not mean that more seasoned shooters don't get a lot out of it too. This class is a full presentation of FIGHTING with a pistol which is different from just "safely handling a pistol" . I combine real world civilian experience in interpersonal conflict, 20 years of experience in teaching people to shoot, fight and THINK combined with Master class shooting skills and a verifiable resume of continuing education and high level shooting performance. If you are looking for a class to put you on the path to mastery of the martial skills or simply to take a class that actually teaches you how to employ your pistol against the likely threats you would really face on the street this class is what you are looking for.

  14. Looks like we are down to 6 spots left......
  15. Going to be interesting to see how they try to spin this into "Alt right terrorism" when the perpetrators were an adult registered democrat who hates Christians and a teen age transgender accomplice.... https://dailycaller.com/2019/05/08/colorado-shooter-hatred-christianity/ The motive of the Colorado shooting suspects “went beyond bullying and involved revenge and anger towards others at the school,” sources close to the investigation told the Denver Channel. The shooting resulted in one death with eight other students wounded. At least one of the suspects had been in therapy and illegally used drugs, the Channel also reported. One of the suspects, Devon Erickson, is an adult while the other unnamed suspect is a minor. (RELATED: Sheriff: 2 Suspects In Custody Following School Shooting Outside Denver, 8 Injured) Facebook posts reveal that 18-year-old Devon Erickson previously expressed hatred for Christians, according to Heavy. “You know what I hate? All these Christians who hate gays, yet in the ible, it says in Deuteronomy 17:12-13, if someone doesn’t do what their priest tells them to do, they are supposed to die. It has plenty of crazy stuff like that,” Erickson wrote in one Facebook post several years ago. “But all they get out of it is, ‘Ewwwwww, gays.'” The second suspect, identified by police as a “juvenile female” was transitioning from female to male at the time of the attack, the Channel reported. Erickson is a registered Democrat who has praised former President Barack Obama and criticized President Donald Trump in posts on social media. He put a “celebrate pride” filter on one of his photos in 2015, according to Heavy. Erickson’s social media activity shows he is from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and likes video games, paintball, skateboarding and The Walking Dead, according to Heavy. The publication also revealed Erickson’s Instagram profile photo of a demonic red skull smoking against a black background. A car towed from Erickson’s home “has ‘F*** SOCIETY’ spray painted on the side” as well as the number “666” and “what looks like a pentagram sprayed on the hood.” Car towed from #stemshooting suspect’s home apparently has “F*** SOCIETY” spray painted on the side. Also “666” and a what looks like a pentagram sprayed on the hood. pic.twitter.com/e6QX3lq4v3 — John Fenton (@higuysimjohn) May 8, 2019 The shooting took place at STEM School Highlands Ranch, a charter school that serves kids in grades K-12 about 15 miles from Denver, The Associated Press reported.
