As you might have noticed, my name is Glenn. 6' 8" and about 325 right now. Glenn -
I haven't bought anything from them in several years but i used to buy a lot from Cabela's because they had sizes to fit me. I was always very satisfied with their stuff. Seems to be made for people that really are outdoors people not just want to look like it. Glenn

Patches. I will take you or leave you. My choice Roman. The king of the house and very demanding Rocky. I just love everyone Rat Terriers

The Bluesman Hound Dog Taylor once said "When I die they will say 'He couldn't play s__t but he sure made it sound good'." And he did make it sound good. Glenn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEfdK-0cPqk

Had forgotten about Buddy. Great blues Glenn

Ted used to make regular stops in Knoxville. He did put on an awsome show. Saw BB King at Uncle Sams in Knoxville before it was all disco. Glenn

OK we have done guitarists and rock bands, now how about live shows. What was the best live show you ever saw. And I am talking the musical variety. Nothing with horses if you know what I mean. It won't necessarily be your choice for best band, since you may not have seen them live. I've seen quite a few live show but I think the best show was Bruce Springsteen. I wasn't a fan at all but my girlfriend, now wife, was and wanted to go. The show was in Rupp arena and went almost 4 hours. Bruce had to be helped off the stage. I'm still not a big fan of his music, but he sure knew how to put on a show. Glenn

For those that liked Hendrix, did you ever hear Roy Buchanan? Check it out. Glenn

Thanks, I'm not going to let it get me down. My psa was in the threes with a normal exam for several years then suddenly jumped to 7.6 but still a normal exam. My Dr recomended a biopsy which found the cancer. I have a friend whose psa is some outragous number but he has had 5 biopsies with no sign of cancer. I would rather have the surgery than 5 biopsies. Ouch. Just don't be afraid to get checked. Glenn
-
I am not sure what the official recomendations are, but have it checked every year after 40. Especially if anyone in your family has had prostate cancer. Changes in the levels are are more telling than the absolute level. Glenn
-
Impossible to pick just one. Too many different styles. Some I might vote for: Chet Atkins, Doc Watson, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Maybe not technically a great guitarist but few people can make a guitar sound better than BB King. Glenn
-
Ok you guys that are not kids any more. GET YOUR PSA LEVEL CHECKED. It's a simple blood test to screen for prostate cancer. Problems are determined by the changes in PSA levels so getting it checked sooner rather than later is important. I had mine checked but not early enough since I have a strong family history of Prostate cancer. I had Prostate surgery 2 years ago but my cancer has returned so I am starting radiation treatments. I have decided to try to help other men to not undergo what I am going through Glenn

Wow. Same gun same problems. Never fed a full magazine without some problem. Finally traded it away. Glenn

For sunday wear I sometimes carry in a belly band but rotate and pull it up to shoulder holster position. Covers completely with a sport shirt and comes out reasonably well if I unbutton my shirt. If I really needed to draw fast i don't think a couple of buttons would even be noticed. Glenn
-
It's simple really. Opinions are like a--holes. Everybody has one and most of them stink. Glenn

I would not think of stiffing the waiter over something like this. I don't think it was his idea. Besides there were six of us. 15% was already added on the bill. Glenn

From Privacy rights clearinghouse: The MasterCard Merchant Rules Manual provides as follows: 9.11.2 Cardholder Identification A merchant must not refuse to complete a MasterCard card transaction solely because a cardholder who has complied with the conditions for presentment of a card at the POI [point of interaction] refuses to provide additional identification information, except as specifically permitted or required by the Standards. A merchant may require additional identification from the cardholder if the information is required to complete the transaction, such as for shipping purposes. A merchant in a country or region that supports use of the MasterCard Address Verification Service (AVS) may require the cardholder’s ZIP or postal code to complete a cardholder-activated terminal (CAT) transaction, or the cardholder’s address and ZIP or postal code to complete a mail order, phone order, or e-commerce transaction. (http://www.mastercard.com/us/wce/PDF/MERC-Entire_Manual.pdf) MasterCard has an online form for reporting merchant violations of this rule. Go to Contact Us | Merchant Violations*| MasterCard® and check the box: “The merchant/retailer required identification.” The Rules for Visa Merchants provides: When should you ask a cardholder for an official government ID? Although Visa rules do not preclude merchants from asking for cardholder ID, merchants cannot make an ID a condition of acceptance. Therefore, merchants cannot refuse to complete a purchase transaction because a cardholder refuses to provide ID. Visa believes merchants should not ask for ID as part of their regular card acceptance procedures. Laws in several states also make it illegal for merchants to write a cardholder’s personal information, such as an address or phone number, on a sales receipt. Rules for Visa Merchants, page 29). Stupid or not, that seems to be the rule Glenn
-
I am pretty sure, no not pretty, but reasonably sure it is against Visa's rules for a merchant to ask for more ID to use a credit card Glenn
-
No. He was nice and seemed embarassed over asking. The meal alone is not $80. They had some adult beverages also. The waiter didn't ask for an id to serve the drinks, just to use the $100 BILL GLENN
-
The seafood was good. Will definitely go again. The comment about the HCP for Id was a poor attempt at a joke. Let him know you are carrying if he wants to make an issue out of it. like I said, just a little joke. Very little. I wouldn't have shown an id either. Glenn
-
The wife and I went with 2 other couples to the Knoxville Radisson for their seafood buffet. When it was time to pay one other fellow ond I used credit cards but the third guy used a $100 bill. Not really unusual since their bill was about $80. The waiter said I'm sorry sir but I have to see some ID or I can't accept that. WTF you take credit cards without batting an eye but need id to take cash? I'll say he was calmer about it than I would have been. He just gave the waiter his DL and let it slide. I think I would have used my HCP. I thought the whole thing was very odd. Glenn
