I have read several old threads about applying for mr C & R. I was led to believe you had to order the form from BATF, but on their website is a downloadable form 7cr, collector of curios and relics. When I read this form it seems most of the questions relate to "the business", such as you must comply with all local rule concerning operating a business. I thought a C&R license was strictly for personal use. Is this not the correct form? If not, what do I need to ask for? Glenn

When you install a deadbolt you should get a extra strong strike plate. Most places that sell the locks will have them. It consists of a steel plate that has extra large screws that go into the framing next to the door. Otherwise you are just fastening to the door jamb which will just split off under a moderate kick. I think the slow learners are the voters. While we did send a few new people to congress, not nearly enough to change much The republicans are not really much different than the democrats at the end of the day. They are all about money and power. The only chance to get any real change is term limits. Either by law or by just voting them out. And we all know that ain't going to happen. Glenn

Dolomite, I have just read thru this thread. Man, I thought my wife and I had some family problems, but nothing compared to yours. Got to shoot a M2 today. Ran probably 50-60 rounds. Wow, what a feeling of power. Turned a pile of cinder blocks to dust. Also got to shoot some other full auto, but the M2 was awsome. Glenn

Since I fit the part in several ways, I once went to a party as the Jolly Green Giant. I used about 20 bright green eyeshadow crayons to cover my face and neck, arms and legs. It took about a week to get all the green off. Glenn

Has anyone else heard the ad put out by the Lincoln Davis campaign slamming Scott DesJarials? In it Davis is portraying Scott as quite a troublemaker, having run ins with the law and even "firing a unloaded gun." I don't know much about either of these guys. They aren't in my district but if Scott has discoved a way to fire a gun without bullets I think he is the kind of genius we need in government. Maybe he can invent a way to run the gov. without taking any of our money. Glenn
