I am certainly no track expert, but black bears don't show that much claw when walking do they? Glenn

Gail Kerr: Guns-at-work proposal is a disaster in waiting
Glenn replied to daddyo's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I quote "A private business should be able to create whatever rules it wants to govern use of its employee parking lot." Since when? Does that mean I can ban whatever race, religion, political persuasion, weight, height, gender I want to? OK, It's my parking lot. No unarmed libtard women can park here. You have to park on the street and walk. Glenn -
I did it. I finally applied for my C&R after putting it off for a couple of years. I really don't know why I waited so long to apply, but now that I have I am sure the wait to get it will seem like a long time. Now I just have to start looking for my first purchase. Glenn

I knew a guy that would take the postage paid return envelope and tape it to a box of bricks. He would usually get off their list pretty fast. Glenn

What is it with nut jobs that they want to get their face on video. Reminds me of a saying my grandmother used. "Fools names and monkey's faces are often seen in public places." Glenn

Just goes to show how fragile our freedoms are. Glenn -
Doomsday preppers false sense of security

As I remember (which I don't always do very well) they did say they had thought about defense, but had decided against it. Glenn -
I am guessing the drone was hit by accident. Someone was really shooting at the anti hunters that were flying it. Glenn

I have only seen a couple of episodes of this show. I don't understand why anyone would go on tv and advertise their preps. I saw an episode last night that was about a group of people who were home canning and growing most of their food, and they had a lot of it. One of the men said they refused to think about protecting their preps. He said when the roving bands showed up we will just show them how much food we have and offer them some to leave us alone. I hope that works out for them. Glenn

I decided to try to make a knife from a old file when I was about 12 or 13. After heating it cherry red it slipped out of the pliers I was holding it with. Blessed with better reflexes than smarts I caught the file in my bare hand. That was my last interest in knife making. Glenn

I used to watch fox all the time. I rarely turn it on now. Just another example of how bad it is in this country. Speaking the truth is not allowed. Glenn

I guess most times the gun is empty after firing until overheated. I got a very large blister from touching the barrel of a BAR after it had fired 5 or 6 mags in a few minutes but it was always empty when the firing was stopped. Glenn

The owners manual for my Olympic Arms AR15 says that the AR 15 can sustain a rate of fire of only 12 to 15 rounds a minute. It also warns that as few as 140 rounds fired quickly can cause the rifle to "cook off" or fire a round from heat only. I have seen quite a few guns fired until they were very hot and have never seen one cook off. Is that something to worry about? I am aware that overheating a gun is a good way to shorten its life and don't plan to shoot hundreds of rounds that quickly but 12 to 15 a minute seems awfully slow. Glenn

As someone that is in the printing business, and as much as I would like a TGO bumper sticker, I have to agree with TGO David on this one. If you don't protect your intellectual property it will eventually be used in ways you don't agree with. Glenn

Not only should you keep your finger off the trigger, you should read your own posts read your own posts before posting them posting them. Glenn

It seems to be working correctly now. Glenn

Don't put your finger on the trigger on the trigger unless you want to shoot. Idiot Glenn

Why is my avatar cropped? I have tried different sizes and different pixel depth. Right now it is 200 pixels square but it keeps cropping all 4 sides off. I have tried the adjust crop and it looks fine on that page but not in the forum. Glenn

Then comes the time for patriots to do what is demanded in the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. When other countries people rose up, Obama said their leaders should step down. So I am sure that when the people of the US rise up, Obama will gladley step down. Glenn

Thanks David. I figured it was somewhere I was just to dense to find it. And thanks for all the work you put into this site. Glenn

Too many greats to pick just one. I got introduced to rock with Led Zeppelin 1 and 2. Loved AC DC with Angus. Saw them a couple of times. Saw ZZ top and lynyrd Skynyrd 4 times in one summer and 2 of those shows also had Marshal Tucker on the ticket. I have to agree with Mike357. The best show I ever saw was Springsteen at Rupp Arena. I wasn't much off a fan but went with my girlfriend (now my wife). Springsteen played for 4 hours and had to be helped off the stage. Ted Nugent could really rock too. [h=3][/h]Glenn

since my defense gun would likely be a 12 gauge pump alternating 00 buck and slugs, I'm guessing he won't be needing any aid Glenn
