I tried those upside down tomato things for three years. The plants started out great but once they got really big and started bearing, we just couldn't keep them watered enough and ended up letting the plants get hurt and they ended up not bearing enough to pay for the hanging pots (they rotted out after three years) and the dirt. Sadly, it appears that most don't care. Makes me sick to think about all that has been sacrificed to protect our country, and now it is just rotting from within. Glenn -
Along with my C&R license there was a large packet of stuff which included an "Open letter to all recently Federally Licensed collectors of C&R firearms." In that letter it states "Enter into the A/D all Curios and Relics Acquired after receipt of the collectors license" That settles it for me. Glenn

I bought 400 rounds of surplus along within the gun but I defiantly plan to grab some more real soon. My wife's cousin has several boxes of 7.63x25 modern ammo. Anyone know if it will work in the TOK? Glenn

Just returned from the post office with my new to me Romanian Tokarev from Classic arms. First impressions are: Made in 1953. It's smaller than I thought it would be. The finish is as close to 100% as can be. No holster wear, even the top of the front site blade is dark. The bore looks good although I haven't disassembled the pistol and I don't have a bore light. The front of the bolt around the firing pin is dark but that may be old oil. There was quite a bit in the barrel. The holster is worn, as expected. So far, I am very happy. It is as good or better than the website said it would be. I can't wait to try it out. Funny thought though. Since it is illegal to have a weapon on Postal property, I might have been in violation from the time I took possesion of the package until I was out of the parking lot. Glenn

My wife went from the first grade through high school with David Keith. We have crossed paths several times. My first job was a drug store delivery driver, and I delivered to Cas Walker all the time. One time I rang the bell and when the door opened it was Cas in his boxers. He asked if I would like to see his coon dogs, so he comes out and takes me to his back yard, where the kennels were, still in his boxers. Glenn

I ordered it from Classic Arms. I went with the Tokarev because I wanted to try the 7.62 x 25 cartridge. It seems to be a more powerful round than the 9x18 Makarov. Glenn

Getting a C&R may be a bad thing. I've only had mine a few days and I just ordered my first pistol. A Romanian Tokarev and 400 rounds of 7.62 x 25. Now I am looking for a long gun. This could be dangerous to my finances, but it sure is fun Glenn

It's amazing now that anyone that dies the least bit unfortunately is a hero or someone to be celebrated. Glenn

It wasn't really in the woods, but some friends and I found a body in the Holston River. Glenn

The first semi-auto I ever bought was a 59. I don't think I ever shot a full mag without a jam. I didn't know enough to try to get it fixed, just sold it and bought something else. I wish I had it now. I always liked the way it felt in my hand and I'm sure the jamming could be fixed. Glenn

Just under 4 weeks. Is there a place that explains the record keeping requirements? I have read that you can print the pages and create your own bound book. Does anyone know if that is correct? Glenn

The front fender was a 12 pounder cannon. The next larger holes are from canister shot. The rest are most everything you can think of. Actually the exit side looked even worse. Glenn

I have a Marlin 336 with the deer head carved in the stock. It has a sling and scope that I am reasonably sure is factory. I bought it used but every picture I have seen of the same model has a sling. Glenn

UncleJak, My sincere sympathy on your loss. My dad was at home with hospice care. They couldn't have been better. My mom was so impressed she volunteered with hospice for years. She spent her last couple of weeks at a hospice inpatient facility (her choice). They treated her like a queen. Hospice people are a special kind of folks. Glenn

You're dam straight some people won't accept Obama or any other socialist sob as president and anyone that thinks it's because of his race is part of the problem. It's not his race, it's his politics. Glenn

ATF charged the $30 to my credit card 3/7. I have been trying to decide on my first purchase. I am thinking about a CZ-82 or maybe a Yugo M24/47 Mauser. What can anyone tell me about the 8mm mauser ammo? Glenn
