Expect a tax if you don't buy a high milage car. A tax if you are fat. A tax if you exhale carbon dioxide. Glenn

I really think this signals the end of America as we know it. Obama now knows he can do anything he wants. If he declared himself God and required everyone to bow down to him, he could get 50% of the people and 4 justices to support him. If he gets one more justice, he will be our fuhrer. Glenn

Agree with this. I already heard some asshat liberal say Brian Terry's death would have happened anyway, because the cartels would have just gotten guns from somewhere else, so F&F doesn't matter. Glenn

I think the red was fruit punch. I stayed away from it. The white lightning version is distilled 6 times and is basically tasteless, more like vodka. Glenn

Definitely not the best, but if I had to rate it I would say closer to the best than the worst. Glenn

Used to get the real stuff years ago. Some was really good, some wasn't. Glenn

Has anyone been to the Ole Smoky Moonshine place in Gatlinburg? I had been wanting to go and was passing through today so decided to stop in. I didn't think about not being able to buy liquor on sunday, so the store was closed, but the tasting room was open. Can't sell it, but can give it away. Go figure. They give you a little cup, think little plastic communion cup, and they seem to fill it as many times as you want with their different wares. I was particulary fond of the Original, and the blackberry, but I guess I had to try 10 or 12 mini-shots to come to that conclusion. can't wait to get back and buy some. Glenn

I've eaten pawpaws a time or two in Grainger county. They do taste sorta like bananas, but full of seed as I remember. Glenn

McCain must have had a pair at one time, but they are long gone. Glenn

I wasn't very clear. The packages were not to him, they were for others that the driver felt were too far away to be profitable and the driver was unconcerned that my friend saw what he was doing. Glenn

I have a friend that used to receive a lot of packages fedex ground. He said he has seen drivers take a package that was too far away and just stomp on it then send it back as damaged. Glenn

You beat me to the post. Who is DLM? Glenn

No more Tula for me. I have seen a friends M16s digest 100's (maybe 1,000's) of rounds of it without a hiccup but I am done with it. I just need to find a decent price on large quantities of something g better. Glenn

Having only recently bought an AR15 and not really knowing anything about them, I bough a bunch of Tula ammo. The first time out I only shot 50-60 rounds, no problem. The second time out after about 60 rounds it was jam after jam, to the point I thought the gun was broken. After a thorough cleaning, my son and I took the gun to Norris saturday, same thing. After a couple of mags, jam after jam. One was stuck so bad it had to be punched out. We could continue shooting but every round had to be cycled manually. Rounds would eject weakly but would not load another round. I remembered I had a couple of mags of unknown brand brass cased ammo. Put them in and they ran without a single problem. All this just to say my AR doesn't like Tula ammo so I need suggestions for range ammo. I would rather not spend more than necessary but I want something that works. Suggestions? Glenn

I think they are awesome. My son said several salespeople were not interested in helping him. Told him to just get a gift certificate, that gun stuff was "too personal" to buy for someone. I think they did great, and this means a whole lot more to me than a gift certificate, and if it's gun stuff I'm good with it. Glenn

I just have to show off what my sons, daughter-in-law, and wife got me for fathers day. AR15 upgrades. New quad rail fore end. Combination front vertical grip and Bi-pod, and 100 round drum mag. The greatest thing is that my 19 year old son took the initiative to research, find, buy sneak the gun out to get it installed so they could hand it to me ready to go. Then they couldn't wait till father's day. Here are a few pics. Glenn

Someone I work with got a ticket for 37 in a 35 zone. Wouldn't have believed it if i didn't see it. Glenn

The other day I talked to a fellow that has bought several thousand Mosins and he was saying that he has not been able to find any for a good price. It seems that the people in charge of disposing of them have seen what they sell for here and are wanting a much larger cut of the money. Can't blame them but this guy seemed to think that when current stocks are sold we will see a price jump. Think I will grab a couple more while I can. Glenn

Finally got to shoot the Tokarev. What a blast. Between my son and me we must have shot well over a hundred rounds. Got to order more ammo. Glenn

Thanks for the heads up. Ordered a crate myself. Glenn

I agree also but the fact is the Gov. does interfere with who you rent to. If the roles were reversed in this case I bet the Gov. would be forcing the man to rent to the anti military woman. Glenn

Printer technology…or why does my printer use so much ink?
Glenn replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
Second the recommendation for laser printers. Unless you need color, get something like a brother 5450dn. Under $200. Network capable, auto duplexing, around 30 pages a minute for about 2¢ a page in consumables
