  1. I believe it's thread.
  2. Dangerous place to be a criminal
  3. Read about it HERE
  4. We will see who they get. Plenty of commie liberals that pass themselves off as Catholics. If it bothers some people that others are concerned when the Dems welcome prayers from someone that has sworn to replace our constitution with the Koran, then welcome to our "circle", but I would rather be in the circle than standing in the middle.
  5. I bought their "Indestructible" belt and have worn it every day for at least 6 months. It still looks brand new. If I was guessing I would guess it will last almost forever. I wear my belt very tight since my belly pushes down and I have no butt to hold my pants. Most belts fail around the holes, but these still look new. Glenn
  6. Whoopie Goldberg is going to be the new Daisy
  7. If you are a fan of chicken livers you have to try Chandlers. I believe they are the best in town. I used to think Wrights had the best until I tried Chandlers. They cook them up fresh so you do have too wait a few minutes, but worth it. Glenn
  8. I agree on Ruth's Chris. I love a good steak but think I would choke if it cost that much. Ye Olde Steak house has some pretty good steaks and the whole meal is around $30. By the way, on Monday nights they have their burger and a side for $7.75. If you never had a Ye Olde burger you need to give it a try. Glenn
  9. We used to get Famous Daves at work quite a bit, but it seemed to go down hill. Last time we got Dead End on my recommendation. It was pretty good but not as good as I remembered from the first couple of times I ate there. I like Love That BBQ. Also Scrugg's on Magnolia. Just don't look around while you are there. Pretty nasty place. Anybody ever eat at Chandler's Soul Food on Magnolia? They have good ribs. Big meaty things, not those scrawny little baby backs. Everything else they have is great too. Awesome fried and rotiserie chicken, chicken livers, sweet potatoes, okra, macaroni, etc. Glenn
  10. Just the one .30-.30. I always wanted a lever in .357 maximum, but sadly that cartridge never caught on. Glenn
  11. +1 They have done some great work for me over the years. Glenn
  12. The "nothing to worry about" crowd is going to jump on you. Glenn
  13. Thanks. I almost had my blood pressure under control. Now I am raging and screaming again. This country is so broken it doesn't deserve to survive. The law means nothing to this _ _ _ _ _. Nothing to the people that run the welfare system. Nothing to her nephew. Why should it mean anything to anyone else? Illegal What is so hard to understand about that? God, bring on the zombies. Glenn
  14. ^This^ The demand for products won't go away. Someone else will be making them. Glenn
  15. If my memory is working right, there was a Heartland series episode a few years ago about Irish influence on Appalachian speech and yous-uns was discussed at length as the plural of you ones with an Irish accent or something like that. see, my memory is not really working as good as yousuns might hope. Glenn
  16. Anybody planning to go to Norris this week? I am on vacation this week. I was supposed to be on a cruise but my wife's health problems prevented that. If I don't come up with something to do I am going to end up working around the house all week and I really need a break. Glenn
  17. I have heard several times lately "No one should be allowed to own an AR-15 with a 100 round drum" I just say why not? I am not a criminal and don't use my guns to commit crimes, so give me 1 good reason I shouldn't own an AR-15 with a 100 round drum or any other gun I want? They just look at you. Of course it's a moot point since the boating accident. Glenn
  18. I thought it was a great piece. Just made me think about how things have changed. In fact it was one of the few good things NBC has done with the Olympics. Glenn
  19. How many saw the NBC show tonight about GB before the US joined WW II? GB faced the Germans with courage and resolve. London endured unbelievable terror and just continued on. Churchill, by most accounts a drunk and mediocre politician, gave inspiring speeches that kept the people determined. He remained in London and would often go to the roof to watch the attacks. The Royal family also refused to leave. Can you imagine how fast our current crop of "leaders" would flee Washington if under attack? But what the heck has happened to the British? It seems the stiff upper lip has given way to cradle to grave wussification. Same thing is happening here. "Somebody take care of me" Rant over Glenn
  20. Damn.I only got $50 for mine. Glenn
  21. Give him time. He will be. Glenn
  22. What drives me crazy are people that take a colloquialism that initially made sense and make it senseless, such as "a tough row to hoe" becomes a "a tough road to hoe" Anyone that has ever used a hoe can understand the former but none can understand the latter. Glenn
