  12. No. The city council voted to keep the old ordinance, which is a $50 fine
  13. I guess I will watch. That's a good idea Garufa. I expect to be spitting, cussing, throwing stuff mad. We know O will say anything, true or not. I fear Romney is too nice, just like McCsin was. We'll see.
  14. Is anyone going to watch the debate? I want too but I don't know if I can stand it.

    Need some advice

It looks like the 10/22 is the clear choice. I'm thinking stainless steel carbine with the black stock unless I can find one already installed in a aftermarket stock I like.
  17. Yes they got the date wrong. The actual end of the world is Tuesday, November 6, 2012, when Obama is reelected.

is anyone familiar with the S&W M&P 15-22? it's a little over my budget but is getting some great reviews.

    Need some advice

I will definitely check that out. Sorry for the short post with not much info but I am at work and have to be discreet. This will be for my 19 year old son's first gun.
  20. Thinking about a tactical style 22LR. The S&W looks awesome but is a little pricy. I know a 10-22 can be outfitted almost anyway you want. I would like to stay under $400 or less if possible. Any other suggestion or comments?
  21. Jay Leno used to do a segment called "Jay Walking" where he would ask people on the street incredibly simple questions and get really dumb answers. One in particular I remember the guy was a college history major that thought Lincoln was a founding father and didn't know what was at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I was having a political discussion with my 19 year old son the other day and told him he will learn there are a lot of really stupid people in the world.
  22. let's lighten up a little. What is the most over the top movie gun or gun movie you can think of? I watched Die Hard today and Bruce Willis had a full auto that must have held several thousand rounds. Several times he shot 30 or 45 second bursts and appeared to make it through the whole movie with 1 mag. I got to get me one of those.
  23. I have a 686-3 snub nose that is one of my favorites. I bought it used and everyone that shoots it comments on it's smooth double action trigger. It is fun to shoot and seems to be as accurate as I can be with a snub nose.
  24. No reason to be sorry. the big stretch for me is that some think there is no difference between O. and Romney. Besides, a lot of what I remember as America was gone before you were born, so I wouldn't expect you to understand that.
  25. I think what is left of America as I have known it will be gone. True socialism, many more businesses taken over by the Gov. no guns, and runaway inflation. I also expect a rise in social unrest. It ain't gonna be pretty.
