I see why it is confusing. You can use force to protect property, just not deadly force. Exactly what force can you use? If you punch someone in the nose, they might die. If you threaten to whip their butt for stealing from you, and they produce a weapon, can you then use deadly force or would you be considered the aggressor?

Went last night. As expected, lots more shooting and explosions, less acting. I thought it was funny that the N. koreans used a "new" weapon, EMP bomb. If you just like going to the theater, go see it. If you just want to see the movie, wait for the dvd.

I recently got an electric pressure cooker that seems to have solved the overheating problem. When i was a kid my mom was cooking green beans in a pressure cooker. The vent got stopped up. When the emergency release popped the entire pot of beans shot out of the approx. 3/8" hole and formed a green stalactite on the ceiling. I think they are much safer now.

Bought the last 4 boxes of .22lr at our Walmart. They were hidden behind a stack of 22 longs, or I guess they wouldn't have been there

My brother is a huge Obama supporter. He is politically a 60's hippie that has never grown up. Now he wants my help in getting a pistol and carry permit. I told him we better hurry before Obama makes it impossible and he just looked at me dumbfounded.We don't discuss politics much.

Wanting to shoot rifles so indoor ranges are out. I just went online, it looks like all the twra ranges are closed during deer hunts.

The problem is spending will never get cut. The fiscal cliff spending cuts are 55 billion and they act like that would be the end of the world.

I heard part of Corker's speech supporting higher taxes. He said he hadn't talked to a single wealthy Tennessean the wasn't willing to contribute more. What a s_ _ _ head. If the government raised everyone's tax rate to 75%, in two years the deficit would be as big as it is now.

So let me see f I understand all of this. If Republicans become just like Democrats, we can get some of the Dem's voters, while the conservatives move to third parties. Exactly how is this a winning strategy ? It seems to me that conservatives need to teach the voters why smaller Government less spending, less taxes and controlling the borders are the best things for more people.
