  1. Just an update. The new rig fit and finish is great. Seems to be flexible enough to move with me, but rugged enough to stand up to use. I'm very pleased so far!
  2. Thanks. I'm familiar with Numrich. I've searched there, but to no avail. Like I said, no model number on it, but there is some patent dates I've been going by. I do have an ebay auto search saved and get hits, but none that look like what I need yet. The search continues. I do enjoy the hunt so to speak, so I'm not complaining.
  3. Hello all. I've got an OLD H&R 12 ga. Pat dates are around 190X-191X. I'm guessing its just over 100 years old. all the hard parts are there, but no wood. Action seems be be functional. I need a stock and forearm. Of course I don't want to spend a lot, but I'd like to have it complete. Maybe even just for a wall hanger or something. It doesn't have any model numbers or anything; just the patent dates. Where can I find a stock for this old thing? Or should I try to make one? I've considered getting one for something else and trying to modify it or maybe even start from scratch. Any ideas?
  4. I'm in Greene County and have been joined here for a few years. Just now doing my intro though. Thanks for providing a forum to those of us with an appreciation for the 2nd Amendment.
  5. welcome from a fellow Greene Countian! I didn't know Ottway had a small show. How would I get details on that?
  6. Thanks. gorgeous setup, but little more than I want to spend for now. I found somebody on etsy that hand makes them to fit. I got one for my gun with the cant I wanted and all. $28 shipped. Just received today. Good quality for the price and seems to fit the wrangler nicely. I'm interested to see how it performs. Thanks for the input!
  7. I recently picked up a Ruger Wrangler with the 4.62" barrel to carry working around the property. I'll probably load it with 3 rat shot and 3 lr hp when carrying it. Seems like I always see a rat or something and wish I had something with me. I'm I'm often on a mower, tractor, or 4 wheeler when I see something I need to use it on, so i want to be able to cross draw while seated on the machine. What's your favorite LH Cross Draw holster for this application? I want Leather preferrably. Not expensive because I'm going to wear it working. Thanks in advance!
