Yes, I ordered one, expecting shipment within a week or so.     Ahhhhh   delayed until mid-late May.

I picked the PT145 over the glock because of price and barrel length. Both felt great in my hand. The Taurus is reliable and has mild recoil.

I have to agree with the Taurus PT145 - a great little gun and reasonably priced

I bought a box of ammo at Wal mart yesterday (in Nashville) and noticed a $0.10 fee tacked onto the price. The clerk asked if it was for a handgun and I nodded yes (100 .45 ACP). Has anyone noticed this?

I'm not sure who made the upper, I bought it off gunbroker in '03. It seem that the seller was from the northwest, Idaho, maybe. As for Magazines, the brass is .221 fireball with the neck expanded to .308, its essentially the same size as .223, 30 round AR mag hold 30 .300 Whisper. I've shot it with a Olympic lower when I first got it, but I gave that AR to my father in law. So, now I built this S&W M&P15 lower for it. I can't wait to get it to the range.
