Cheap flashlights that use a single 18650 battery?
TomInMN replied to DaveTN's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
They have a coupon through 04/30 for this light (or one very similar, at least) for $25. -
There's nothing quite like a big, beautiful brass receiver. Preferably with some deep blue and color case hardening added to the mix...

I've wanted to see them make a dude gate rifle for a long time, but in 44mag!

In the quiet, sitting there bleeding: "Eddie?" "Yeah Dave?" "I think we picked the wrong house..." -
Am I the only one who was kinda disappointed that this wasn't about a prized pair that had been left behind some place hazy, or with someone you might not be too happy to find yourself with in the morning?

I think it's probably pretty accurate story telling if some character in a movie doesn't know what they're talking about. Maybe that's just me...

The next time someone makes the "that's not what the Founding Fathers had, so it's not covered by the Constitution" argument, please gleefully inform them of your new and improved plan. -
This. And if you can, get her some trigger time on any gun she's serious about before you buy it. If she doesn't enjoy shooting it enough to practice with it, it'll be that much more difficult for her to use it if she's confused, terrified and (likely) having an adrenaline response. Though I hope she never finds herself in a situation to need to use it.

I'm thankful that I've never experienced something like that. I know some folks keep benedryl on hand, just in case of mild allergic reactions to food. It might be taken as a prophylactic, or crushed and swallowed if you need a faster uptake. But it would be worth a visit to your GP to talk about allergies. Anaphylactic shock is no joke, and dying will ruin your day. You're right that that's where canola oil comes from.

I like the floated handguard versions. They kinda remind me of the ppsh.

I found this under your mattress. It's nothing to be ashamed of, I'm just glad you're using protection. If you ever want to talk or just ask questions, I'm here for you.

In terms of features, rain fly, footprint, and two side entrances (ideally with vestibules) instead of one on the end, and a little gear loft are things I look for.

This is a great recommendation. Anything SteepandCheap is selling from Big Agnes, Kelty, North Face that fits your size and budget requirements is worth buying. ETA: I'd be much more inclined to buy last year's model at a hefty discount than to buy a used tent. You just don't know how well it's been looked after, how the waterproofing has been maintained, etc. It doesn't have to be a big obvious hole to make a big negative impact on your trip. If course, I'm a bit biased. Seems like I get rained on hard pretty much every time I pitch a tent.

The only rifle I know of like that is the Krag. Not to say there aren't others, that's just the one I know.

Yes, Malwarebytes!

I just use the free version of AVG's offering. Regardless, back up all your important documents and photos to an external drive (an actual disk drive or even a big thumb drive) regularly, just like any other housekeeping task. Then, if your computer becomes a paperweight for any reason, you still have your most important files.

I think the 9E is (well, was) about the best value going in a pistol.

Plus, Ruger has retired the SR series.

It's amazing what a good, stiff gunbelt can do for you.

Thanks for sharing, gregintemn. That put a smile on my face.

Refleks, did you find something suitable yet?

What do you shoot your reloads in? You said you're not s big fan of wheel guns, you rocking some sweet levers?

I missed this before, can't you ship from an FFL holder and get around the next-day air fees? As was mentioned before, I'd definitely try to work them some more to see if they'll cover shipping. Polite but persistent can pay off.

I thought it was a smaller coyote or some similar furbearer.
