The berries on our mulberry bush are starting to ripen. Our boys (3 1/2 and 2) and I have been out there in the mornings having a couple handfulls. What a great way to start the day!

Who's used "ProPex" Plumbing? Any plumbers here?

If you're reasonably handy and you have the equipment, you'll be fine. That short stub to the elbow could be replaced entirely if it ends up too short. The nice thing about too long is that it can always be trimmed. The fact that you already have some work done in a particular style might be a mark in favor of keeping with that style. But if it's not much already done and you have a lot left to do I guess that's less of an advantage... -
Beretta also has a $100 rebate on this, which brings it close to Taurus pricing. https://gunprime.com/product/beretta-apx-centurion-9mm-pistol-10rd-jaxq920/

Keep in mind that the equivalent-size PEX will have a larger OD than copper. I ran 3/4" PEX for the main lines in my house, and used a 1" auger drill to get through joists. Also, the more system-wide planning you do initially, the better off your distribution system will be. And leave extra tubing in your runs, for just in case. I also used the metal ring clamping system. My tool came with a few inserts for the jaws, to clamp different sizes of tubing. -
I saw that, too. This picture put a smile on my face.

Good to know, thanks. From what I've seen so far, you do a pretty dang good job making your pieces look good.

Probably not on a 10/22 or other traditional style rifles. ARs and other rifles that are very flat would require a riser to get the optic up into your lilne of sight.

If there was a High Five option in the reactions, I woulda picked that. Way to go, team!

Isn't there a joke about that? Something something... Sawmill up front, Damascus in the rear?? Grand Torino, would you say this is how your sawmill blades still look? I thought they'd be darker based on the recent threads you've posted.

We've used an RV cleaning brush and soap on vinyl siding with a power washer. Works pretty well. Soak/ soap, brush the bad spots, rinse.

I don't have one, so I think it wouldn't be right for me to start it, but I would enjoy browsing a GT Knife collection thread. C'mon, kids! Sun's out guns, er, KNIVES out! And add some details about what your knife is made of and the style, if you please.

I hate to break it to you, but neither your golf club not a pickup will ever be an assault rifle. The definition of the term is applied to a class of firearms with certain features, it doesn't come from the actual use of a specific object. No matter how much you want to change the definition, it's not going to happen. It really doesn't matter how much you argue it.

Jeb, thank you for keeping this thread up. It's a lot of fun to see these old photos.

Depending on how they control access, it may be no net gain in safety for people at the school. And if a shooter (or shooters) do get inside, that fence might just become the worst thing the builders could have included.

Question for the legal eagles: Does Blumenthal's "The only people..." quote rise to the level of slander? If you oppose the bill, he's saying you're a criminal. That would seem to harm ones reputation...

I saw that also. The block he's sitting on looks like it probably fits that bill, but I'm no expert and wouldn't be shocked to hear that he's sitting on something other than what it looks like to me.
-
Does anyone have an idea about when that type of block he's sitting on was invented? I found a couple of places that mentioned early 1900s as a rough time frame, but I don't know enough to know if that's accurate. Or even if what I was reading about (cinder block/ manufactured concrete block) is what is actually in the photo...

I'm not affiliated with them, but I know some of you lucky folks get to shop there. https://www.smga.com/ruger/pc-carbine-takedown-9mm-17rd-2015

And you can set up multiple bookmarks using this technique. Save a search for new shotguns, one for used rifles, one for that specific gun you've been seeking, accessories for your favorite pistol that have listed in the last week, whatever gets you giggly.

Don't sweat what weight others are pulling. Far more important to reliably put your first shot where you want it at a variety of distances, accurately judge distances, know the anatomy of your game and which presentations provide an opportunity for an ethical shot, and to be willing to wait for that. As was mentioned, you don't need to pull all that much to be lethal. A rule of thumb I've heard about draw weight is that you should be able to present your bow to the target and draw it straight back (vs aim it upwards and draw while the bow is bright down on the target) while you're sitting down.

The one in the window is looking a bit self satisfied. Smug, even. I think it was a frame job!!

Good Lord, no! Then you'd have to register it as an SBT with the ATF! Can you imagine the paperwork?!
