Every time I get excited about a 320, I remember this and their handling of it. I want to like Sig more than my remembering those things will let me...

Congratulations on your growing family! Inscription suggestion: "Don't shoot your eye out!"

I just had a thought (believe me, I'm as surprised as you are): If you have a bidet and one of those air hand driers, you don't need no stinking toilet paper!
-
Doug, you can't be late. 'Cause it ain't a party until you show up!
-
I'll swap you some TP for a pack!

You know, the trouble with trying to dig a hole in water like that is that it just fills in so dang fast...

@E4 No More, have you guys thought about modifying the entry so it's easier for her? Maybe something like an expanded metal ramp than pins together and runs parallel to the 5th wheel? Or maybe a half-dozen of these at different heights? https://www.campingworld.com/step-stool-aluminum-platform-step-adjustable-height-100841.html?cgid=tools-ramps-ladders#start=5&cgid=outside-rv%2Ftools-ramps-ladders%2Fsteps-ladders%2Fstep-stools

Franken-PLR16 or how to make a lightweight 5.56 on the cheap

I actually just yelled at our older kid last week for climbing into a plastic bag. Momma did, too. We both gave him both barrels, I almost felt bad for him. -
No smoke out of the back end, eh?

I assumed duck hunting. In style!

Some of you might not know this, but hockey is a big deal in MN. The state high school hockey tournament literally closes down some schools and nearly shuts down some smaller towns. It's a great opportunity to watch some good (though not always clean) youth hockey. A lot of the kids that play in that tournament parlay their talent and work ethic into free rides to college, a good number become famous as pros or Olympians. And then there's these guys:

I was just kidding you a bit. Maybe it wasn't floating any more, so you sent someone else out in it...

So... You're saying I should go but a bunch of nice guns "for my wife"?
-
Are they Finnish or Russian?
-
If I would be getting a good value for the guns, and I felt the boat wouldn't be depreciating a lot, I'd at least consider it. Basically, I wouldn't want to turn my guns into something worth essentially zero dollars (or soon to be so). I'd never trade guns for electronics, because they get to zero in a heck of a hurry.
-
But is that the last time anyone was in it?
-
That's interesting. Would there still be restrictions on where carry is allowed?
-
And the more drivers there are on the road, the more BAD drivers there are in the road. The more BAD drivers there are on the road, the greater the likelihood of one ramming their car into you and yours. Same with guns and carry. I think there are a lot of responsible, cautious people posting here, and I think they don't necessarily reflect the attitudes and abilities of the general public.

There's no Constitutional right to drive, so the comparison only goes so far. But, I suspect that a lot of the people who make terrible drivers would make terrible armed, polite citizens. I think most people do an adequate (no, not good) job driving. I think most people would do an adequate job carrying. I've also seen folks risk the lives of everyone around them because they couldn't be bothered to know where they are, stay more than six feet off the bumper in front of you at 60 mph, read signs, maintain their equipment, be courteous, or remember that they're not, in fact, pro drivers in real-deal race cars. And sometimes, pretty rarely though, these are people driving commercial vehicles. (The professionals.) I don't think it'll be a bloodbath, quite the opposite. But I also am very aware that one inconsiderate moron can change the course of my family's life very drastically. There are limits on every Constitutional right, where one's exercise of that right begins to intrude on another's exercise of their rights. ("Fire" in a crowded theater, slander, and liable come to move.) I'm okay with the idea that the Second isn't any more absolute than the first. Heck, let's require 40 hours of high speed training for everyone who wants to carry. And have the government pay for it!

Some days, I think even that won't work for me!

Free Range passes - Shoot Point Blank Knoxville

I'm right there with you, I had no idea. -
Like for volley fire?
-
When was that, exactly? And what's your benchmark for "fine"?
-
If your carry requires training, you're not carrying under Constitutional carry. I'm less concerned about criminals (I totally agree that they'll do what they want regardless.) than I am about the average well-meaning but totally irresponsible person, who really has no business carrying, having zero bar to meet in order to carry a gun. I'm comfortable having some admin that keeps the impressively lazy and willfully irresponsible from being entitled to have a gun in my space.
