  1. Not a shill for Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo, but just notices they have the Hellcat OSP with WASP red dot for $629.99
  2. I have one, but too much money into mine to sell it (trigger and fit to Holosun) SMGA has them new in stock for $489.99.
  3. Sorry you haven't sold this yet. It's a nice gun at a fair price. Live at the other end of the State or would one considering it. Best of Luck!
  4. Yeah, I apologize for the reloading is the way to go comment. Just figured you were set up for that. Indeed primers are extremely hard to find.
  5. https://guns.fandom.com/wiki/Mateba_MTR-8 Which such a short barrel I am surprised that it was intended for the target shooter. Possibly for steel challenge or such?
  6. btw, I belong to both. ORSA is large and the creme de la creme of shooting venues, it has EVERYTHING. Gatlinburg is much smaller and the road up the hill is all gravel. While small the club has a plucky "can do" attitude. Very grateful to have both of them available to me. Great people at both of them.
  7. Gatlinburg Sportsman's Club has a pretty nice steel pistol range set up. https://www.gatlinburgsportsman.com Don't know if you meant rifle or pistol. If rifle, ORSA would be the place to go. http://orsaonline.org/ Both are membership ranges. However, Gatlinburg may allow a visitor. You should contact them via email for a look see: gatsport@live.com PM me if any other questions.
  8. What stance should one take on violent home intruders? Savage them
  9. Glad to see a classic arm coming back. The SA looks like the one to check out, don't know anything about this one In a free country a long long time ago, me and most of my friends chose customized 1911’s over the Hy Po. Were we wrong? Was the 1911, not the best of the 20th century? If not, why did it win all the competitions?* The 9mm round was looked at as some foreign whimpy cartridge back then (not now). *In retrospect it might be because thats mostly what people shot. Ok some 38 holdouts I actually shot a couple of matches with a friends SW model 52.
  10. And only a 180 day minimum lead time. Well that’ll give us all time to save up.

    45ACP bug

    Congrats
  12. If it was me, I have a good gunsmith who could tell me if it is fixable or if I should get a new slide from Smith,
  13. Were lucky that there are so many good choices. Were unlucky that all those good choices keep us so b broke
  14. Just used a hammer to set a roll of caps off. Works but not all go off on one stroke. Don't remember what the caliber of the hammer head was
  15. SMGA in Sevierville has the Sig P365 XL with the Romeo red dot for 599.99. I loved my p365 but went to a Hellcat OSP before these came out. Guess its 50/50 either way.
  16. Can not compare but its certainly not 9-10 lbs.
  17. Saw one of these at Bud's in Seveirville last week. Did not shoot it but it was available for rental at their range. Picked it up and seems nice, but the trigger pull is quite heavy. A y'all-tuber said his lightened up after shooting it awhile. Not sure what that translates into in the real world. Think the most relevant observation was that it is the modern day replacement for the venerable "Chief's Special." I can see how it would have an appeal to people enamored with that oldie but goodie.

    30 Super Carry

    So true....

    30 Super Carry

The trend seems, like your LCP, to higher capacity everything. Guessing it is a marketing trend. Possibly newer buyers aren’t aware that an autoloader can be quickly reloaded?
  20. Wonder if there will ever be a G69?

    30 Super Carry

Pardon my sarcasm, not towards anyone here.... ”Sir, do you have any 30 super carry in stock?” ”If we do, it’ll be right next to all the 380 acp ammo” On a serious note, it looks “TO ME” like it is an effort to give really high capacity to 380 sized handguns. Look forward to an introduction of high cap LCP like guns. A new marketing craze is born I do so dislike marketing ploys and toys.
  22. In the future..."All restaurants will be Taco Bell"
  23. I guess that should be "prices for popular ammo" rather than "popular ammo prices" cause they ain't popular with me
  24. Bought some, lost some. Gotta get a bigger boat, they keep falling out. Glad to see that some of firearm prices are coming down, at least at SMGA and Bud's in Sevierville. Popular ammo prices seem to be stuck though.
  25. Listed it on Craigslist got offers already. Guess no one here needed it and that is good, in a way. Stay safe my friends
