A bit large for me to carry. Would have no problems trusting mine though. Have shot mine from holster for idpa and casual competition. Still have all my body parts. I wonder if any of the alleged discharges involved weapons with reworked triggers? The original P320's had nice triggers the latter ones like mine, no so much. Installed a Grayguns trigger in mine, it has a much nicer feel and no over-travel. But, if it did go off in my holster it would be hard to blame Sig as it is a user modified weapon. People like changing out springs to try and get striker firarms to feel like hammer fired 1911's and such. Have seen at least one very experienced gunsmith rework a Glock 19 trigger until it was light smooth and unreliable. It was my G19 and the gunsmith was an old friend educated in the days of wheel guns. I quietly took it to another smith who put things right. Another friend had a person who specializes in engraving firearms modify his Sig carry gun. Not sure I would trust it though it felt nice. So which of these videos show that the Sig P320 in question was unmodified?

Thanks, did not mean the 308 is an oddball. Rather a mag fed lever coupled with a floating barrel for accuracy. Possibly Henry is way ahead of my antiquated thinking Buds has two in display might pick up the one with iron sights Was wondering if you run a scope on yours?

Looking for help in choosing a lever action rifle/carbine. I have no use for one just want a lever in my lineup again. Have owned Marlins and Winnies in 357/44/30-30. Not really a hunter, though the opportunity for deer/pig may present itself in the near future. Hence my looking at a 30-30 or .308 Have never owned a Henry rifle, but a couple have caught my attention: 1- Henry H009gl in 30-30 2- Henry Long Ranger in 308 Win The H009gl is a side gate but otherwise well recognized. 30-30 is not my first preference for hunting. The Long Ranger in 308 looks great. Like the .308 round. Four roundcapacity is ok. Looks like a bit of an oddball offering though. My first thought is to go with the Long Ranger due to the .308 round. However the h009gl would possibly be easier to sell if I get bored with it. What do ya all think. Yes there are the new Ruger/Marlins. Been there, done Marlins.

Bodyguard 38 was the only revolver I wore out. S&W said it was cheaper to replace than repair. Loved it till then.

Asked for a photo of the round with primer looking sideways as Garufa noted. He did not still have the round but noted it looked more like gas had escaped around the sides of the primer in two spots leaving a carbon trail That sounds consistent with the blow outs

I have experienced CCI Blazer ammo having primers back out under strong recoil. That was on aluminum case ammo in 45 and 357. Wonder if that is happening in the magazine as the weapon cycles then a round with a poorly seated primer gets chambered and fails ???

NO BURS

looks like it. i didnt inspect that round closely.

Posted here rather than ammo as it is possible the gun is at fault. Just can’t see how

Rock Island Armory 10mm 1911. My friend has exactly the same RIA 1911 as I do Have seen him shoot a couple hundred rounds of PMC and Magtech 180gr ammo with no problems On my advice, due to 19.95 per 50 round box price he purchased Blazer 180 gr as shown. In a single ¾ box he had four primer blowouts This is his pic so don’t have more to show I checked his 1911 and it does not seem to allow firing out of battery There are no signs of hard primer strikes or case bulging The weapon cycles great with other ammo So this is mostly a heads up for 10mm shooters looking for a bargain Sometimes you get what you pay for Also, I tried 8 rounds of that Blazer box out of my RIA 1911 but had no problems Spent cases on either weapon look normal, except for obvious primer blowouts outs Most had normal primer strikes Again, no case bulging. Also cycled live ammo through chambering and extraction cycle without firing and cases looked normal. I told him to contact cci/blazer before sending his 1911 in to RIA This only shows 3 rounds Fourth had identical blow out to top center case Again, just a buyer beware heads up

So much “click bait”. So little time training.

Many of the buying public are uninformed and inexperienced with weapon handling. Possibly they think a “new feature or gadget” will automatically make them shoot well. Often that is not the case. It takes training and practice Glitz sells

Like so many wild claims; the truth comes down to Operator Error

1- Yea people do lie to cover their arse, or hole n the leg 2- SIG is a big corporation which some see as a cash cow 3- Have shot P320/365 in IDPA. Only AD’s I ever saw on any gun were from people who had finger on the trigger when they shouldn’t have. That meant a DQ from the match and possibly future matches as well 4- If my career were on the line as a Leo , might cook up an excuse to stay employed. That is just being human.

Never liked how a scope changed the balance on a lever gun. That said, quality peep sights are sometimes hard to find.

If you want pan and tilt, that feature is not as popular as a ball head. They work quite differently. Would not want a ball head for a twenty pound load

The Dan Wesson models were very popular back in the 80’s That is when I did a bit of practical pistol competition shooting Think it was it was the model 15 people had. One version came with a 2/4/6 in interchangeable barrel set Was too expensive for me. But people who shot with them seemed to do well

Good reason to choose it over the Canik.

Great find. Didn’t know they were available

Am surprised it fits in the box for size. Then again, haven’t shot IDPA for a few years. Hope you are having fun

With no intention of stepping on the OP's parade: Eerytime I see that gun it makes me slap put my palm to forehead. Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
