Retired Navy GMC

My father gave me a K Mart Model 151 20ga. single shot. I know its not worth much, but thought it was interesting to have a K Mart shotgun. Can't find a lot of info online about K Mart guns, so I thought I would put it out there to see if anyone had any idea about it. Thanks

If you watch the credits on Way of the Gun, you will see that one of the technical advisors is Doug McQuarrie. I worked with Doug for 2 years after he retired from the Navy. Doug is a retired SEAL and his brother is Christopher McQuarrie. Director/Writer of Way of the Gun. Doug did all the shoot and move/ tactical scenes on that movie.

another movie screw up.... shooting the last round in a semi auto pistol, slide locked to the rear, they keep squeezing the trigger and you can hear a clicking noise.

What are the things that people say about guns that you really can't stand? Calling a magazine a clip. A .22 isn't dangerous.

If your firearms sit for a long period of time, I would do a pre-fire check on them. This includes a thorough cleaning prior to shooting. Old oil and dust can gum up the mechanicals without you realizing it. I honestly doubt it was the ammo. I have shot ammo that is older than me and it worked perfectly. Another way you can check to see if everything is working properly (extractor, ejector) is to use dummy rounds. Cycle dummy rounds through your gun to make sure the extractor and ejector are working properly before going to the range. May save you some frustration. 2 years is too long to let your guns sit. Get out to the range more.

Nice Mosin's!! Did you do any refinishing to the stocks? They look really nice. The wife just bought me my first Mosin for christmas. Spent 3 hours today learning how to break everything down and cleaning off all the cosomoline. What a pain in the ass that was. I still need to look up all the info on it. All I know so far is that it was made in 1927. Love those old guns.

Bronze Star w/ combat "V" (he didn't earn) Purple Heart (he didn't earn) Wearing of medals with civilian clothes not authorized and looks like Flag he is holding was not flown over Cole. The actual Cole flag is in a glass case on the mess decks of the USS Cole.

There is no way that he can deny any of his lies now. The dumbass agreed to having the initial interview in Deleware video taped. This was pulled this off the Navy Times website and posted on Facebook by another Cole crewmember. There had to be something else in the can or the rubber gasket on the lid was torn. Depending on how large of a dessicant pack is, it can only absorb so much. All you can do is bury it. I would definitely not try to clean it up.

I just received my Crossbreed SuperTuck holster for my SigSauer P226. Before getting it, I was using a Galco Cozy Comfort, it wasn't really that comfortable but I put up with it. This Crossbreed is probably the most comfortable IWB holster I have worn. Highly recommended!!!

Is this guy the only HCP instructor in the area? No matter what type of class I am spending my hard earned money on, I verify the class and the quality of the instructors as much as possible. I would definitely send letters, emails, and phone calls to his superiors, the NRA, and TN Department of Safety. Spouting off his politics and basically putting down gun owners while teaching a HCP class is Bull !!!

Not too harsh at all. I know a quite a few very good men that earned the purple heart and the bronze star. It cheapens the awards they earned when a jackass like this goes to the NEX and buys medals. I think he should start off by apologizing to the families of the fallen, then to the entire crew, one person at a time. Then let him stand in front of the Admiral at a court martial. The sad part is that his own family has probably stood by him all these years and believed all his BS. Now they are finding out that he is a fraud.

We aren't really a tactical team, but we did stay at a holiday inn express last night.
