1. Silencershop is seeing form 3 approvals between 02/26-03/16. So that is probably another good indicator. But who knows how much business has picked up since those were submitted. So that's 63-42 days....going to be close man.
2. We ordered the same day too. Haha
3. Gotcha. I ordered a Mask and a Sandman L from Capitol as well.fingers crossed!!
4. I never asked...what do you have on order?
5. I guess they can't file form 4's while waiting for the form 3's to be approved just in case the form 3's get denied.
6. I got some form 3's started last week. Hoping to squeak in under the deadline. Wish I could have my dealer go ahead and start the form 4's since I already have the serial number. Why can't they do that?
7. Can you get a picture of the teeth from above looking down straight on the teeth? Hard to tell with the side angle. Clearly not a fawn though. :-) Nice deer.
8. Capitol Armory is saying 4-8 weeks. Who really knows how long anything will take these days.
9. There is a 1-3x Weaver with rings in the gear section of classifieds.
10. TomUT07: Use the IMG code to post pics. I'll help you out below:
11. Agreed, but for a completely selfish reason. I purchased a lifetime permit. So instead of breaking even at around age 62....when do I break even now? 100?
12. What an idiot.  This is EXACTLY why we can't have nice things.
13. I like your beard. ;-)
14. Make sure your iron sights are sighted in.  If i'm not mistaking, a 50 yard zero means you are on 0-200 yards.  Learn via youtube how to take apart your bolt carrier group and clean it.   Keep your AR fairly well lubricated.  Think about some sort of optic.  They do help.  If money is a consideration, consider Primary Arms or Vortex Sparc.  Think about a new trigger.  ALG makes some nice ones that are not too expensive.  Sky is the limit w/ triggers. Don't shoot steel cased ammo.  They have a lacquer finish that when chambered on a hot rifle, tend to get stuck and wear out your chamber faster.  As with all guns, protect your hearing.  Several of us here double up with plugs and muffs.  Take it from someone who's ears have been ringing non-stop for the last 12 years....and I'm only 30.
15. I know 2 people with that tick borne illness. I use permethrin and bug spray when I'm in the woods. If I ever find a tick on me, I shower in dog flee and tick shampoo. Kills them dead! True story, at one point when I was a kid, I got into a nest of seed ticks. I literally had thousands buried in my skin. The only solution was dog flee and tick shampoo and it worked like a charm. The only side affect is that if you rub my stomach my left leg starts twitching.
16.     Thats as good as done!  Its so much cheaper when they are young than the $1,600 I paid for mine last year!  yikes!  Even if he turns out to hate hunting, at least it would be $200 bucks well spent to help preserve the wildlife and heritage that I so dearly love.
17. Thanks fellas!  I am super excited.  He's going to be a boy!  Hopefully he will be a good hunting buddy down the road.  Time will tell I guess.       I've told my wife she needs to start walking backwards everywhere to help delay the birth till after turkey season....she wasn't as amused as I was!  LOL
18. Yeah, it's kinda scary at first cause you are afraid you might get caught but when you realize they have no idea, it helps calm the nerves. ;-)
19. My first child is coming into the world during the first week in turkey season. You think my wife will understand? Haha
20. I stared following you a few weeks ago.
21. Congrats!!  Please take lots of pics of your hunt and post them!
22. I haven't had a problem finding Noah's Mill in my area. If a store is out of it, usually another one close by had some. Is Noah's allocated?
23. good to know! Will keep an eye out around my area. I didn't know people were crazy about the Special Reserve too. Do you expect any Elmer or 12 year Weller this time of year?
24.       I'd be pretty upset if they did because i know my favorite, Lagavulin 16 would be the first to go.
25. What they chose to put in their mouth is their business. I just wish they'd stay away from our bourbon!
