  1. Now that I would pay to see!  LOL
  2. I think this will just have to be a path of self discovery for you because each persons astigmatism is different and affects us in different ways.  I have astigmatisms in both eyes and it drives me nuts.  For me, I can't see the Chevron's...so some of the pistol Leupolds or Trijicon Acogs...I cannot see worth a crap.  I see 2 chevrons and I almost don't hardly know which one to use, lol.  I have found that aim point type recticles look sorta like a starburst and the best for me is actually the EOtech.  Sometimes I see it double, I guess it just depends on how good of a blink I get.   I wear both contacts and glasses.  It seems best when I wear glasses, but I much prefer contacts for everything else.  Good luck to you.  It may be red dots don't work for you but there are many other options that will likely work out perfectly for you.
  3. Imagine how scared the deer will be if you get that trigger....think about what you are doing man!
  4. Haven't watched it but saw it and got it recording.
  5. Well I stand corrected: http://law.justia.com/codes/tennessee/2010/title-70/chapter-4/part-1/70-4-124 I guess I've just never NOT considered wearing orange. Never can predict poachers. I guess this doesn't apply to family of the property owner does it?
  6.   Yes, absolutely but only for gun season (maybe muzzleloader as well?) but not bow season or turkey etc...
  7. how long does that take?  Looks really good.
  8. Friend don't let friends Stipple....unless it looks like that!   Nice job!
  9. Very nice! Congrats!
  10. Color me impressed.  I don't even see how some of that is 1 in a million possible.
  11. Shoot. Maybe you can teach me!
  12. This won't help for your specific questions, but we have a 42 horsepower Kubota and has been fantastic.  The compact size is great for maneuverability, but nothing happens real quickly with it at least on our property.  Its working for our needs, and can continue to, but at some point we will get a larger tractor to pull larger implements.  We have 425 acres and it does perfectly for our .25-4.5 acre fields.  We have a 30 acre field as well and right now just have it leased out to a farmer.  We won't touch it w/ our 42 horsepower since we don't live out there and have all day.   I would like to further reiterate what grayfox said above....having the dealer/repair center nearby and the quality of their customer service really does matter.
  13. Clearly 99% of the people who order from BCM have no issues. Mine won't be here till Monday now. Nearly 2.5 weeks later. Oh well. I'm off thursday and Friday next week so I guess I'll plan in dialing it in then.
  14. It's still stuck in Chicgao and now the weather was bad. Delivery was supposed to be yesterday so now my plans of dialing it in this weekend are shot. Hopefully I'll get it in time for next weekend. Lol
  15. I figured the BCM Brotherhood may chime in here to help me pass the time and ease my anxiety.  I ordered a new upper, 16" Middy, ELW, with 15" KMR handrail last year and still have not received it yet.  Well to be fair it was the 26th of December but sure feels like a year has gone by even though its been just 2 weeks.   Between the holidays, lead time and them wanting to confirm my address, it has finally shipped but now UPS is showing weird things on the tracking.  Seems like I can't catch a break!  I was hoping to slap on my EOTech I got for Christmas and get it all dialed in over the weekend but if my order is lost...it may just be another 2 weeks!   :stunned:   Anyone else waiting for fun stuff?
  16. Annnnd thats a wrap folks!  So sad. Time to break out the turkey calls to ease my depression.  :-)
  17. Hope so man! No rain here in West TN yet but it's coming! Wife is texting me that she and my FIL will be going to breakfast soon.....I hate making these decisions.
  18. Turkeys are going crazy!! I've never heard as much yelping and clucking in my life. Warm weather has them turned on I guess!
  19. I'm in my stand. It's sopping wet outside but rain isn't expected till about 11am or so. It's 58 degrees and rising as well as strong gusts. Not sure if my life jacket will be sufficient or if I need to start building an Ark. As shady as these deer are im not quite sure I can convince them to come two by two on my ark. So if it's up to me to repopulate the world with animals, we should be good on everything except for deer.
  20. I'm going to be giving it a go this last weekend. Would appreciate prayers for some successful hunts. I don't care if I shoot anything but I am going to try and take 2 new hunters with me and would be great for them to tag some doe this weekend. Hate for them to waste their $70 for license.
  21. Haha. I hear you on that! Last year they got really shady towards the end of the season as well.
  22. Our herd is doing the same thing. Staying in the woods until last shooting light and then coming out in droves. They are just tired of being shot at. I mean, even in VERY predictable fields, they have become ghost towns.
  23. Man it must have been a bug of something I ate, but I have been peeing out my butt all day today. Been terrible.  Had to rehydrate w/ gatoraid.  Imodium did nothing.  Not a fun day today but fortunately I wasn't throwing up!  Been there and done that!
  24. I got mine on Christmas eve!  A nice Leatherman that I will use the heck out of at our farm and a sweet TGO logo'ed drink coaster...didnt even know we made those?  Made my wife happy because she knows I don't like using the coasters she buys, haha.  Thanks Secret Santa!
