Uncle Sam wants YOUR computer...

Thank God that if it came down to it WE CAN do more as things stand now, but if the liberal gun haters keep embezzling our rights (by the majority sitting on their hands and ALLOWING them to), over time we may end up just like Egypt and the rest of our world. Defenseless slaves. -

Chinese Pianist Plays Propaganda Tune at White House

Come to think of it, Obama does have a slight Chinese resemblance. I’m sure he (Obama) was the first one to stand and applaud when Lang finished playing. -
Some people do think that way. However, if every person on the planet received a box with $1 million in cash tomorrow, no one would be any better off than they are today (unless some stole the boxes of others). But assuming all things being equal... The person who had $10 billion yesterday would still have $10 billion + $1 million. Those who had close to zero would all have $1 million + close to zero. Point being that those who were poor yesterday would still be poor as $1 million would be nothing if everyone had it. Someone would still have to grow corn, someone would still have to work on cars, someone would still have to run the trains, someone would still have to bake bread, etc. EVERYONE can't retire! It isn't possible. Or if they all do, they will soon all starve and die. There will always be a need for someone to keep working. We need to get it to where the majority are currently working (legitimately), and very few aren't. With all of the baby boomers about to come out of the work force, it is not mathematically possible for 1 person still working to support 6-12 people not working. Any moron should be able to see that.

Obama is moving to issue an executive order to the ATF concerning 'temporary' gun registration reporting. This was already in the works before the AZ shooting based on the previous melodrama of 'journalism' trying to say that the majority of illegal weapons in Mexico came from the U.S. (which is false). There is no "bill" being proposed here. They are planning on the BATF simply instituting a new 'regulation' by executive order of Oblahblah, thus by-passing the legislative process, and against the will of the majority of American citizens. The part of the proposal that is most troubling is the part where it says: "to require Federal Firearms Licensees to report multiple sales or other dispositions whenever the licensee sells or otherwise disposes of two or more rifles within any five consecutive business days with the following characteristics: (a) semi automatic; ( a caliber greater than .22; and © the ability to accept a detachable magazine." Note, it does not say anywhere 'sold to the same individual within five consecutive business days'. The way it is worded would require any dealer who sells more than 2 guns at all in five days (which would be all of them) to report ALL gun sales, who purchased them, thereby instituting a backdoor gun registry of all gun sales. Also, the wording of the actual proposal does NOT specify which states would be affected by this new 'regulation', thus applying to all 50 states (or 57 if you are Oblahblah). Only news reports are saying/implying that it is only applicable to border states, the actual ATF proposal does NOT say that.

Interesting Book About Gun Use and Possession
mcurrier posted a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I thought that this was very interesting - Jeff Seif draws on his experience as a police officer and theologian to walk readers through the Law of Moses, the biblical foundation of our Judeo-Christian culture. He describes God’s specific instructions on how to use power to secure justice for all and protection for the weak. Anyone wielding any measure of power and influence—parents, professionals, police, presidents, pastors—can benefit from exposure to the writings of Moses, especially since familiarity with God’s precepts guides biblically minded people to the godly use of power in times of war and peace. • Does “turn the other cheek†condemn abuse victims to accept their tormentors’ rage? • Does the Bible ever sanction war? http://store.levitt.com/cgi-bin/perlshop.cgi?ACTION=enter&thispage=books.html&ORDER_ID=!ORDERID! -
