There are three different versions, one with red dot, one with green dot and one that has both. I got the one with both, switchable red/green.

Every person on earth, all 7 billion, could fit in an area so small it would blow your mind. Tennessee Right to Life - Overpopulation Myths (United Against Abortion, Infanticide, Euthanasia, Human Cloning and Fetal Tissue Research.) Standing arms length apart, all could fit within the city of Jacksonville, Florida. Split up into family units of 4, and each family given a 50' x 50' piece of land, all 7 billion could fit in the state of Montana, with room left over. The earth has a LOT more resources than we can use in thousands of years. It is 3/4 water. It filters its own water. It creates it's own petroleum lubricant deep within the crust and mantle of the earth. Fish are abundant in the ocean. It can sustain a LOT of people. That's what it's here for.

Well...Obammy just made ANOTHER move to push us towards that $9/gallon gas. Obama Administration Rejects Keystone Pipeline Permit | Fox News AND...against the recommendation of HIS OWN Jobs Council - Obama's jobs council report says 'drill' - The Hill's E2-Wire More jobs down the toilet, higher energy prices ahead. This was a truly 'shovel ready' project, but our dear leader just buried it. -

This is b.s. This is a technical "crime", similar to a non-moving violation in auto and traffic law. The man was not using the gun in a criminal act, it was merely a "possession" issue. I bet NY doles out slaps on the wrist for actual possession of drugs, but they feel the need to hang this guy. Bernie Goetz for President!

I don't know...could have been an AK-46, or maybe an AK-48... Also, I would NOT have run out into the parking lot with a gun after the police had arrived. Turned out alright, but that's just asking for it.

No one said that govt. had any involvement in setting prices, but what govt. does in the way of restrictions on oil exploration, drilling and refining (as well as other energy sources - coal, natural gas, hydro-electric, nuclear) all factors in to the decisions that speculators and commodity purchasers make, thus directly and indirectly affecting the cost of oil/gasoline. As a side note (just in general, not to you HvyMtl): Interestingly, those tree-huggers who drive Prius and other electric cars feel all warm and fuzzy about themselves, only because they are too ignorant to understand where the electricity that runs their cars comes from (mostly coal and oil, some nuclear). They also don't take into consideration the toxic chemicals that are in the batteries of those cars that will eventually need to be disposed of. Way more environment damaging in the long run than the typical gasoline powered combustion engine car. Point being - things aren't always as plain and simple as the tree-huggers would have you believe they are. Electric cars still depend on coal/oil, etc. Subsidies artificially prop up technology that is, to use a word liberals love to use a lot, UNSUSTAINABLE on its own. That just increases prices for everyone all around the board and doesn't really help anything. Subsidies = fake/false/failure. Our world currently is geared for oil/petroleum energy. Technology to replace that will come very gradually, not as fast as the tree-huggers would like, but to artificially try and speed it up will do more damage than good. -

o...k... Your geo-tag says Oak Ridge, but I guess you're really in Kalifornia. Not sure what the dynamics of pricing for Oak Ridge are, but... Gas was $1.47 in Nashville, Tennessee on January 1, 2009. Didn't break $2.00 here until mid-May 2009. Was under $2.00 for about 6.5 - 7 months. Not arguin' with ya, just sayin'... And I remember it like it was yesterday. Historical Price Charts - Nashville Gas Prices -

When a regime, or administration as you call it, restricts all drilling, binds other forms of energy, and stonewalls pipelines, it can only help those middle eastern oil producing nations stick it to us with higher prices. When someone is elected to replace the current tyrant, energy prices will relax if that person is domestic energy friendly and loosens up a lot of these agenda driven restrictions on domestic energy production. Price benefits aside, domestic energy is a job creator and a national security interest. Our entire economy and military readiness is dependent on petroleum energy in this century. -

You must have Rip Van Winkle'd on us from 2006 to 2009 then. It was $1.62 on Jan 1, 2009. Chart of the Day: National Gasoline Prices | The Big Picture -

Best McDonald's in and around Nashville area is in Carthage. Seriously. Awesome service, excellent quality. I've called corporate MANY, MANY times and told them so. Worst McDonald's - Green Hills/Nashville. Corporate knows me by name over this one.

This subject is a hot topic for me. I eat fast food almost every day. And I very often DO tell the person taking my order that it had better look like the picture on the menu board. Wendy's burgers have gotten a LOT better in the past few weeks. They now serve the dining room burgers in an open ended cardboard sleeve which prevents them from getting mashed like when they used to just wrap them in paper/foil wrappers. I had one of those Whoppers a week ago at Burger King and it looked just like the "actual" one in the sample photos. It was mashed down and almost flat. It tasted horrible. I rarely eat at BK, and after that I am swearing them off again. They just suck. I had one of those squashed Big Mac's a few days ago too, but it tasted really awesome, so I forgave them. Must have been the 'special sauce'. My Filet-O-Fish that day was the best one I had in months too.
